Step2 Naturally Playful Sandbox II

I love this sand box so much! I ended up scoring free delivery for the one piece original sandbox which is which is very sturdy and looks great in the backyard. I put 200 lbs of sand in it in the kids started playing immediately. For those of you that asked why there are openings and holes that bugs and water could get in it's because the company has to save their own butt because there are kids that will close themselves in the box and they have to have air holes just in case. Other than that it's not that big of a deal.

This sandbox keeps a 20 month old enthralled! The toys that came with are great for learning how to make (and SMASH) sand castles. As long as grandma remembers to put the cover on, the lid keeps rain out and hasn't blown off in 35 mph gusts. It was well packaged and fairly easy to assemble. I do recommend pre-drilling screw holes with the tiniest bit you have, but use a hand screw driver.

This is a GREAT sandbox and the lid keeps animals from utilizing it. It's just the right size for 1 or 2 little kids to have a wonderful time.

We purchased this sandbox for our grandson. We live in Michigan so it has not been used but we know our little guy will love playing in it when it gets warmer.

This sandbox is great! My grandson has so much fun playing in it. It is bigger than most of the other ones out there. He loves driving his trucks and burying toys. This sandbox is just right.

Not sure why people are complaining. My daughter is having a great time. It's better you just return the item if you're not happy with it instead of misleading others.

The sandbox is a good size for my 4 year old and 2 year old. It looks nice and is sturdy. Our one complaint is that it is not waterproof at all, even though the lid seems to be pretty secure. I knew this when I bought it from reading other reviews, so it wasn't surprising. The sand gets very wet and takes a long time to dry out.

This is a good size for toddlers. Able to fit two 3yr olds in no problem. Took 3 50lb sand to fill. A great sandbox; just wish it wasn't so expensive.

It's a nice little sandbox.. But it's definitely not waterproof. I put it together, filled it with sand, a few days later I opened it up for a grandbaby and the sand was wet. I read to put cinnamon in it to keep bugs and critters away. And while I'm mixing up the cinnamon in the sand there's worms in the sandbox. Hard to stop a worm I suppose.

The item is not as the disruption implied. The item was easy to assemble and held plenty of sand. The draw back its size was on the small size. Its copy required no assembly; held the same amount of sand; around thirty dollars more; problem the shipping made it over the top.
