The sandbox with cover arrived quickly. No assembly necessary. It's a large sandbox. Inside dimension 44'' by 31. Overall outside dimension 50'' by 37" about 7 inches high. It was exactly what we wanted and we are pleased with the quality. Would recommend.

Love the size the aesthetic the 4 seats are adorable it's being used as a splash/ toy pool right now for ages 2-7 they love it I have the sand I purchased but have not been able to use it as a sand box yet the material it's made out of is not as sturdy as most of the other step 2 products I own so fingers crossed it holds up to sand weight

Bought for a 4 year old and 7 year old , both enjoyed it cause they both love going to the beach to build sand castles . Pretty deep sandbox and lots of room for both to play . Seems super durable but I would hope so for the price I paid

We are not using it for a sand box, it has become a pool for my Rottweiler and he loves it -- if it can withstand a 150 pound Rottweiler playing it, it will hold up to any child in it with sand

I have a 2 yr old and a 6 yr old and they fit perfect in it. They love the sand box and the look of it fits in very nice with my backyard decor. The top is nice and sturdy and holds my 2 yr old without buckling, although not for me, I sat on it and it buckled in but popped back out. Lol

No assembly needed. Arrives in a big box ready to fill. 8 bags of sand fills to the top. The sandbox sand sold today is dirty and if your child has allergies rinsing it is a good idea to rinse. Do it during hot day so it can dry. The top keeps sand dry and cats out.

We shopped around for different sandboxes and we love everything we have ever purchased from step2. I saw some reviewer's mentioned that it is not good and rain, but we don't get a lot of rain and if summers ever forecast I will throw a tarp over it. Everything else about it is super cute and it's the perfect fit for a two-year-old and a three-year-old

Initially we purchased a Little Tykes Green Turtle Sandbox for our 2 %26 1/2 year old grandson as we had one for our now teenage other grandchildren BUT WE RETURNED THAT as LITTLE TYKES DECIDED TO take a great simple 2 piece sandbox and make it fit in a small box by taking the one piece top and bottom and turning them into 4 snap together pieces with a loose head that takes 9 screws to attach the eyes and mouth! NO THANK YOU We chose the simple 2 piece Step 2 box which is great! Light enough to move around to find the correct location in the yard….they say it holds 200 pounds of sand, which it does, but I wish I purchased 250 to start as it will hold more Well made and the sand color exterior blends into our yard If you want a great sandbox this one is a winner BTW Walmart shipping was fantastic as it arrived a week faster than promo send

Good size, sturdy at four corners for sitting. Would help if lid was made to 'snap' on for windy days. I'll just use bungy cord like another reviewer suggested. At least it keeps neighbor cats out! Overall, worth the money for my grandkids to enjoy.

Very cute sandbox in a hard-to-find larger size BUT the material used for the product is VERY thin. We just purchased it, so I can't give feedback on the longevity of the sandbox, but I'm not confident that it will hold up well to even gentle play by toddlers. The cover fits well but doesn't stay attached even on a mildly windy day. The "seats" will not hold a 30%23 toddler without cracking. We were very disappointed in the quality of this product.
