The sandbox with cover arrived quickly. No assembly necessary. It's a large sandbox. Inside dimension 44'' by 31. Overall outside dimension 50'' by 37" about 7 inches high. It was exactly what we wanted and we are pleased with the quality. Would recommend.

I love the size, its design is aesthetically pleasing in my back yard and it is just 2 pieces so no assembly just fill it with sand and its ready to go. I put 100 lbs of sand and it filled it just the right amount. The lid keep the sand dry in the rain, perfect for toddlers to older kids. My son is 8 and loves it.

Love the size the aesthetic the 4 seats are adorable it's being used as a splash/ toy pool right now for ages 2-7 they love it I have the sand I purchased but have not been able to use it as a sand box yet the material it's made out of is not as sturdy as most of the other step 2 products I own so fingers crossed it holds up to sand weight

Bought for a 4 year old and 7 year old , both enjoyed it cause they both love going to the beach to build sand castles . Pretty deep sandbox and lots of room for both to play . Seems super durable but I would hope so for the price I paid

We are not using it for a sand box, it has become a pool for my Rottweiler and he loves it -- if it can withstand a 150 pound Rottweiler playing it, it will hold up to any child in it with sand

The lid fits great..it hasn't blown off and would be too heavy for my 2.5 year old to lift off the sandbox. The sandbox is big enough for my son to sit in and play, but he hasn't. He sits on the outside. The sides are high enough to keep the sand and toys in, and low enough for him to play. I put three bags of sand (150 lbs total), it could fit one more bag. I'm able to keep toys in the sandbox and the lid closes perfectly. The lid is domed, so toys (shovels, a small dump truck, and pieces to build a sandcastle) fit without a problem. I would definitely recommend this item- it's roomy, sturdy, has a sturdy & domed lid, and is big enough for my 2.5 year old and 6 month old boys to sit in comfortably.

I have a 2 yr old and a 6 yr old and they fit perfect in it. They love the sand box and the look of it fits in very nice with my backyard decor. The top is nice and sturdy and holds my 2 yr old without buckling, although not for me, I sat on it and it buckled in but popped back out. Lol

I was looking for a sandbox for my 4 year old and did ALOT of research for one. When i finally decided on this one, i was so happy with it. Most sandboxes dont hold more than 30 lbs of sand and thats not even one bag. this one holds 300 lbs! My son absolutley loves it and his friends do too. Several moms have bought this after being at my house. We have several storms in Arkansas and the lid has never come off and there are no straps it is just a wonderful lid! We have had worms get in it tho after a very hard flooding storm. GREAT INVESTMENT and i would buy it over and over again!

Good size, sturdy at four corners for sitting. Would help if lid was made to 'snap' on for windy days. I'll just use bungy cord like another reviewer suggested. At least it keeps neighbor cats out! Overall, worth the money for my grandkids to enjoy.

Very cute sandbox in a hard-to-find larger size BUT the material used for the product is VERY thin. We just purchased it, so I can't give feedback on the longevity of the sandbox, but I'm not confident that it will hold up well to even gentle play by toddlers. The cover fits well but doesn't stay attached even on a mildly windy day. The "seats" will not hold a 30%23 toddler without cracking. We were very disappointed in the quality of this product.
