Hours of Fun

Deanna September 22, 2016

This table has created hours of fun not just for my 18 month old grandson but also his 3 year old brother. When I looked into purchasing this table it was geared towards my 18 month old grandson however his Big Brother seems to enjoy it as much if not more than the baby. Make sure to purchase sand box sand with this purchase. The sand will get wet but the kids will have much fun.

Great Deal

Candice August 5, 2016

Just as other reviewers have said, the "water slide" structure doesn't stay together well. But my 1 1/2 year old son loves playing in the water, and doesn't get deterred one bit. One side has a plug at the bottom that you can open for easy emptying. We use both sides for water; haven't tried sand on one side because he dumps all the water out and we're afraid he may do the same with the sand...or he will mix the sand and water and I'm not sure how easy that is to deal with. Overall a wonderful purchase at a great price.

Step2 Sandbox Splash n' Scoop Bay Water Table

TimC February 26, 2017

The American Made product arrived quickly after my on-line order. Assembly was fairly straight forward and completed in <10 minutes. Well designed heavy gauge plastic parts. Holding up well so-far. The sandbox side of the table holds a good amount of sand at a nice play height for 2 year old children. The water side of the table fills and drains completely and cleans up easily. The accessory scoop, strainer and cup for the water tower made this a safe outdoor place of interest for little ones to have creative play time.

Splash n scoup

Tammy September 26, 2016

My grandson loves this, nice quality. I like the lid to cover sand and the plastic bugs and crabs we bought go perfect in there

I wanted a sandbox off the ground so animals would stay out of it. My 2 yr old grandchild loves it. The only thing that could be better is to have a cover for both sides. If one side has sand in it, it is too heavy to move easily or tilt to clean out the water side. So, debris from the tree it sits under falls into the water side, and it is hard to clean out. You would think it would be easy to squirt it out with a hose, but it isn't, especially when sand has gotten into it.

So much better than a sandbox

nonameshopper001 July 29, 2014

My daughter got this as a gift, and she loves it. She never liked sitting in the sandbox, but she loves playing with sand in the table. I love that it has a cover to keep the cats out too. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the water leaks out. It drips down from the rubber plug. I am going to call the company to see if there's a solution. I just hate having to do that with a new product.

Fun for toddlers

Bateally March 26, 2020

This water table is a lot of fun, with a few minor drawbacks. First, the tower is always falling off or falling apart. Second, I wish I had a lid for both sides. Since it is outside, the uncovered side gets fairly dirty, even after one or two days out. On the plus side, my 1 year old can reach the water (although he prefers to stand on a stool), but older toddlers also like to play. I also like that there isn't too much water or sand - it's easy to replace fairly often.

One drawback...the tower isn't stationary!

LCarter March 19, 2018

My children love playing with this water table because they love playing water. One drawback to this table: it should have came with the option to stabilize the tower. The tower just sits on top of the table. So when the kids are playing, they easily and always accidentally knock the tower over. It should be able to be screwed down somehow. The tower is the main part that gets played with so constantly knocking it over gets frustrating and old. I bought kinetic sand for them to play with so that the sand doesn't get everywhere.

It's ok

hayna September 8, 2014

I bought this for my 2 and 3 year old. They play in it for a while then take a break. They don't play for a full hour. If you don't like messes, then don't buy it. It makes a huge mess. I let my 3 year old hold the hose to fill up the table. The top was covering the sand side, but some how while they were playing or while it was being filled, water got into the sand side. So much that there was standing water. The sand getting into the water side is really annoying and messy like so many of the other reviews say. I expected a mess, but not like this. I will use this through out the year with different materials like slik flowers and leaves, rice and lentils. Overall it was a good buy.

falls apart.

lland84 May 7, 2014

the sand box itself is nice and my son loves it. the water side however is not as great. the pieces for the water slide dont actually connect correctly and even the slightest bit of pressure makes it fall apart. the lid for the sandbox is very light and im waiting to see if it will blow away on a windy day.
