Step2 Stock Car Convertible Toddler to Twin Bed, Red and Blue

Excellent buy! After looking all over online for deals on this particular bed, Walmart site to store had the best value for this item. Sturdy, beautiful bright colors, fun, easy to assemble; the only parts that require the use of a screwdriver are the tires, one screw each and done! Fits perfectly either mattress, toddler or twin. This is our second step 2 race car bed purchase; our 4 & 5 year old boys absolutely love their beds!!

If I could rate this any higher I absolutely would!!! Easy to assemble! Easy pickup! We had it shipped to store and it was easy to load (the mattress we ordered was heavier). No problems for my husband and me to maneuver. Our son is in love with this car!!!

I didn't expect the packaging to be so bulky and I didn't like the directions. However the bedroom set was everything I expected. I bought it for my 3 year old and went straight to the twin bed size he loves it. If your child has a lot of toys and clothes you definitely want other furniture

I like this bed and my son as well. However, it said 'crib mattress' would fit. It would not unless you have just a mattress. I had mattress and box spring all together and it's a very tall for this bed. If I would know, I might not buy this bed so we end up with using twin mattress.

My two year old really loves this bed. We're currently using the toddler mattress with it, and there is space for his toys, on the sides and foot, which is a really neat feature. Now if he wakes up early or can't fall asleep, he's happier to just stay in bed until it's really time to get up. It was pretty easy to assemble - my (not super handy, but otherwise awesome) husband did it himself with a little cheering on from me, in just over an hour. I only gave three stars for two reasons. (1) Shipping was awful. The box arrived so beaten up I almost didn't accept it. Not only was the box coming open from being bruised so badly....the inside of the box was a total mess. No foam was used to keep pieces from scraping up against each other - there was a lot of empty air so things banged around a lot. It arrived with a scrape along the back. Not bad enough for us to go through the hassle of returning it, but I'm not impressed. The second reason I'm holding back a star is that the bed itself sits on top of a bed board. no springs, coils, or anything with some 'give', which means the bed is a little tough to lay on. He has had to adjust, and while he doesn't have the words to explain it, it seems like he's a little uncomfortable. We put an extra foamy blanket underneath him which is helping a lot.

I ordered the item for site to store pickup. Since it doesn't fit in my car I spent additonal $50 rent a truck & couple of guys. When I opened the box noticed that the wooden frames given to support the mattress were damaged. This has nothing to do with my rating above. Just mentioning as a note for others. My son loves cars and we ordered this hoping he will sleep in his bed room on his bed. The quality is not as I expected.

easy to set up and great to keep you kid from falling out of bed at night. The down side is when you use a Crib matress it has a 6" pocket around the sides and top where the bed is raised above the hard plastic sides. You have to stuff blankets to fill the gaps. This is a poorly thought out product. If it was sold as a full size mattress only it would be another deal but we purchased this to use a crib bed for a few months and then move into a full size bed later. A real good product if you buy it for use of a full size mattress but do not use with a crib bed unless you see it set up and have a plan.

I was never able to actually use the bed because when it arrived the box was completely opened with all hardware pieces out of bag and who knows where...I had to refuse shipment...I do not recommend you order anything of this size online. The freight cost is outrageous. I recommend trying to find something else locally.

When my son opened the box the bed was in it was scratched up bad, had chucks of plastic missing, and the race track piece was smashed up. I couldn't put a toddler mattress in it, BC of the smashed race track piece. I do not recommend this bed at all. Walmart did offer to refund my money, but I gave it to my 4year for His birthday. I didn't want to take his gift away, and make him wait 2 more weeks for a new one. :(

The box it came in was completely destroyed opened on one end. All of the pieces were VERY dusty and i had to wipe down every single piece. It came in a huge package so I decided just to keep it instead of taking it back to the store. Once we started putting it together we noticed the back piece wouldn't connect with the 2 side doors. It is slightly warped. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
