Step2 Tremont Plastic Dark Cedar Round Planter 15" W x 15" D x 28" H

I purchased two of these planters for my front yard. They are just plastic, but they don't look it. They're very strong and sturdy and super attractive. I love the self watering system, too. I'm very impressed with how beautiful they are and how well made. I highly recommend them. I looked around a LOT, and these were the best bang for the buck.

These pots are excellent quality. They're double walled, heavy plastic that doesn't look like plastic. They look very elegant. I've planted them with perennial, tall ornamental grass and trailing ground cover plants and they look amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These planters are awesome. The size is great, because I was able to transfer one hanging basket directly into each pot and it fills it perfectly. Plus, I was pleasantly surprised that there is a divider in the center of the pot, so you only have to fill partially with soil - this saves a ton of time and effort when planting. Even with the soil and flowers, they're not too heavy to move around and still feel very sturdy. LOVE them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to receive these 'self-watering' pots. I had read reviews and now agree that 'how to' detail information might be lacking... so I took pics of my process after doing some research. I bought 6mm wicking chord and cut it to 2 inches or so above the outside drill hole. I did that to allow for a loose knot to hold the wick in the soil area of the pot. I held the wicks up when initially filling the pot base to ensure the wicking action got up into the soil area. I filled it 1/3 full and added a layer of mulch and some fertilizer to encourage downward root growth. I trans-planted one of my young rosemary bushes, filled in the soil, mixed with coconut fiber for moisture retention. I drilled the 3/8" hole out on top and poured in the '10' gallons of water. My Tremont pot is lovely! I did the same with my second pot. My new potted plants are beautiful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The self Contained wicking feature of these planters is ideal for me as a person who usually forgets to water their plants frequently enough. The wicking feature was easy to set up with the pre-marked drill indicators in the plastic frame - 2 drill holes, and it was ready to go. I used pea gravel and some landscape fabric to separate the potting mix from the gravel, and some old shoelaces to wick the water up to the potting mix.

Shipping was fast and safe, no damage to the box. 28" tall but the pot has a divider inside, so you don't have to fill the whole pot with planting soil. The owner's manual has 2 drilling options for watering and drainage (although I would never attempt this without my husband;) I'm glad it will never chip, or crack in the winter, nor will it rust. My plan is to plant a hanging flowerpot inside. It will be gorgeous to put them on my back porch.

Nice shape and size for a reasonable price. I'm using mine for some strawberry perennials. The annoying part is that it doesn't come with drainage holes. We don't own a drill so we had to try a nail and a hammer. This resulted in a very small hole.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This planter could be used inside or outside.  It's lightweight, making it easy to change locations.  There are easy to follow directions to set it up for drainage or a watering feature.   It's too cold to plant flowers now, but I put a large sphere with lights on each one, really pretty at night. This tapered pot will be a pretty accent piece on my deck or patio.
