Step2 Waterfall Discovery Wall Blue Plastic Water Table for Toddlers with 13-piece Playset

The kids love it and we haven't even put water in it yet! They're loving arranging the pieces and putting little things in the buckets., running cars down it. It's easy for them to configure so that's a HUGE plus. We've had it 2 days and they've played with it a lot.

Both of my grandchildren can play with this at the same time. You can see their minds working as they arrange the parts to create a new way for water to flow.

Got this for Christmas for my 15 month old who loves it. I've researched nearly every water table out there and this wall is unique in that there's nothing like it. We went to the Children's museum up in Denver and they had a wall like this we couldn't tear my son away from, so we thought this would be a hit and it totally is! There are enough pieces to make a very full one sided wall, but I'd recommend contacting Step2 for a second set if you have more than one kid or want extra fun. The pieces are easy enough for my toddler to move around and create his own water flow, but are sturdy and stick well enough that they aren't falling off either. Something unexpectedly nice about this is if you don't screw the base and top water catchers into the wall, it's actually really easy to store back in the box. We are planning a big move in 6 months so easy storage is a plus, and the wall remains quite steady even without being screwed in (unlike other water tables that will need to be screwed into the legs.) We don't have a lot of space in our house, even for storage, so having a tall and slim footprint is a nice benefit since so many kid's toys take up horizontal space. It'll be great outside on a hot day, but for now we use it on a towel in the kitchen on days when the kiddo needs a nice distraction or change of pace. Even if you have a more traditional water table, I'd still recommend this product in addition because of the benefits for critical thinking, fine motor skills and cause/effect relationship learning that your child can benefit from, vs a more open ended imaginatibe play that most water tables encourage. Once we move, I hope to add a traditional water table to our collection and I think this would make a fun pair for backyard fun! As a bonus, the little buckets and other pieces would work well in a sandbox too! I'd definitely recommend this toy, it's durable construction and plastic material combined with durable, thick plastic pieces and creative learning outlet is sure to please for years to come!

the kids love it and it seems sturdy and well made

My 16 month old is very short, so he struggles to reach the top of the wall to pour the water. No fear, he enjoys pouring water straight onto the wall. I love the fact that the wall is two sided as we packed it up and took it to a play date for kids ranging from 16 months to 12 years. Everyone played with the wall, and it was the center piece of the playdate for much of the time! We purchased an extra set of the accessories, even above and beyond the two packages that came with our box which made it nice because the older kids who understood basic engineering and cause and effect had a blast working with just the shoots! I would absolutely purchase this again!

Pros: --Indoor/Outdoor Use --Scientific reasoning (predictions, cause %26 effect) --Various waterfall 'chutes and devices to create chain reactions --Tall (for toddlers) and double-sided --Step 2 tends to be a durable brand. Cons: --Step 2 stuff has been notoriously difficult for us to set up each time we've purchased something. You often have to punch holes through the plastic with plastic nails/screws. It's very weird. My husband is usually good and setting up various playhouse and kid furniture, and he says Step 2 is generally the worst of them all assembly-wise. --Could be more waterfall toys for added interest --Shallow pool at bottom of waterfall, making it a bit hard to dip the water out and pour it into the top (especially for shorter children who can't reach all that way up) --Pretty pricey

there was absolutrly nothing inside the box except the 3 pieces and accessories. no assembly instructions, no diagrams, nothing.

Very flimsy, cheaply made. Also you have to drill your own holes..... missing pieces

Well this was disappointing. It just isn't fun for the kids. It needs volumes of water to make the attached pieces do their thing. The flow holes are tiny. Short of setting a hose up to continuously push water through- Not doing it. And drilling out bigger holes. Not doing it. This toy is a bust. Oh and only enough attachments for one side of the wall. BOO
