Sterilite 11 Gal. SwingTop Wastebasket Black

The product itself is OK. It tapers down pretty drastically from the top. So, you get less volume than you'd expect from something 2 feet tall. The packing tape on the top of the box fell off before it arrived. As a result of this the top wastebasket was pretty dirty. Since it's just plastic, I washed it out. But I wasn't expecting this PITA. Get some decent packing tape!

I really liked the slim design and proposed functionality of the product! I was excited to put it in use. However, it is difficult to wrap the trash bag over the edge of the can and still utilize the swing top feature that it is advertised for. The trash bag gets in the way.

This trashcan is alright for the price but the lid was too inconvenient to make keeping it worthwhile while so I returned it for one that has a foot pedal.

I don't know how you managed to mess up a trashcan but it happened. I'm so disappointed that I made an account just to write a terrible review. The lid doesn't work well at all and reduced space needed to put trash in by 1/2! The same lid mechanism is also in the way of bags. The indent for the lid takes away the wraparound space needed by trash bags. This causes the bag to slide into the can and dismantling the lid in the process. Can't get rid of lid because the bag won't stay on without it. Please advise on my new trashcan i expect to receive free of charge.

Purchased this to replace my last trash can by Sterilite. This trash can is not worth the money even if it is free. The lid falls to the floor every time you flip the cover up to throw trash in. Even without a trash bag in it, the lid doesn't stay on. Once you put a trash bag in it, the lid won't stay on. It just flips off and fall on the floor. Terrible design. Don't buy.

I bought this last week and it's awful. The video shows it being used without a bag in it and once you use the bag, the lid doesn't fit at all and falls off constantly. I use 13gal bags and still have an issue. And I don't have time to return it either because I have 3 kids, 3 and under.

Worst item, wish I had never purchased. As soon as the garbage is the tininest bit full you can't open the lid

You CAN NOT find a trash bag to fit it. If you put a trash bag over the top the lid DOES NOT work correctly. I have tried several different brands and kinds of bags and none will stay over top. I have tried 11 and 13 gallon bags.

I brought this because according to the description it was made for the kitchen area. The trash can video on this website is miss leading. The video shows how it is used without a liner and no video on how the lid is used with the lid together because it DOES NOT work together. In the video the lid is leaning against the trash can on the floor as the liner is being removed.

I didn't get what I paid for online and it was a curbside pickup. The lid is for a totally different trash can. Other then that the trash can is a good one if you get the right lid.
