We're using this as a replacement for the diaper genie. The diaper genie was good while it lasted, however, at a certain point the diaper genie makes it hard to take out a full bag of diapers. This trash can is much easier. Love it! I just put a freshener in the bottom of the trash can.

I had one of these trash cans already but bought more to serve as laundry hampers and dog food containers lol. One of these holds my 45lb of dog food wonderfully. These cans are durable and easy to clean. I love the lid, and how it's made to always close when lifted up

I chose this Sterilite lift top garbage can for one thing: disposal of used cat litter. After a disappointing experience with a system created by a "genie," admittedly I had little hope for this simple, inexpensive unit. Using Great Value 13 gallon bags and Special Kitty Scoopable Tight Clumping Cat Litter (fragrance free), I'm pleased to report that once scooped, there is no odor emitting anywhere in my 450 square foot apartment. The lid does not snap shut to close tightly (it rests on the rim), but it closes well enough to not allow for odors to escape. Garbage bags are easy to insert and attach around the top of the can. The lid detaches for easy cleaning; in fact, the design that allows for such ease of removing the lid can be a detriment, as I have knocked it off several times while inserting a garbage bag! It's definitely not something I would consider worthy of a true complaint, though, just something that should be noted. Since it's working this well for yucky cat litter, I'm certain it would work well in a kitchen garbage can situation. Absolutely recommended!

Thinner than expected, for a heavy-duty trashcan, but makes it lighter in weight, and easier to carry around. Holds a lot. The lid helps keep dogs out of the trash. Trash bags are easy to install and remove. No struggling to get the bags on.

The trash can is a good sturdy trash can; well worth the money. I have one, but it cracked around the edge of the top. I purchased another one, but upon delivery, it was cracked also. It was cracked almost in the same spot as my old one. I called customer service and was able to get my refund.

I ordered 2, one came broken. Contacted support that said they'd issue a refund but that never happened. i could return to store but im too far from any Walmart. disappointed

I needed an exact replacement for my current one but the one that was sent has a step on lid lift which is not what the pictures for this listing shows! FALSE ADVERTISING!

order online .... Received the wrong lid, now i have to soend time and gas money going to the store and returning

They shipped this item to me with the wrong lid, the lid we got was not even close to the size of the trash can. 😥 😔
