Sterilite 13.2 Gal. SwingTop Wastebasket Plastic, Black

This trash can is perfect for my kitchen. My only complaint is that is arrived with a few scratches/scuffs but walmart threw in a free bottle of "scratch remover" which I thought was funny . . . how about not scratching the trash cans to begin with? Either way I can barely tell and I'm happy with the purchase.

This trashcan holds trash. It holds it inside of the can. There is a lid that opens and closes, which allows and prevents access to the trash. You could also be creative and use this 13.2-Gallon Swing-Top Trash Can for things like recycling, or if your a wild and dirt boy, you could use it for rags. For the moms out there, you could put baby diaper inside of it. It is really neat.

I love the bronze color! Hefty has a step on version that is the same color but that one is $20 and I needed two and was not willing to pay $40 on trash cans. I found this one and fell in love. It matches my kitchen perfectly and does not look cheap. It has a textured sheen, it's hard to explain, that gives it a modern look. I use one for recycling and the other for regular trash. Someone mentioned food sticking to the lid, I do not have that problem because I throw all messy foods in my food disposal. For big items you would need to remove the lid but I had to do that with other trash cans and it was no biggy for me. You really can't fit big items in a 13gl trash can anyway.

My 13 gallon garbage bags fit perfectly. I ordered the white product. The swinging lid is so easy to dispose of waste. Also, the top section lifts off easily to replace the bag. A great value for the price!

Great product for the price. Just a note to Walmart, the cans were shipped in two separate and very large boxes. The shipping department could have easily combined the two products into one of those boxes and saved you money on shipping.

this trash can is really nice. The color matches my decor .The swing door works really well and is attached to the lid . My old can had the swing door on the top of the can and always fell in..

I'm happy with it. Standard kitchen-sized garbage can, good sturdy plastic (as I'd expect from Sterilite), color was great, I like the swing top. No complaints!

Unless you are planning to showcase these in your home....they are sturdy, well made and a great deal! They came with deep scratches on one face which was a bit disappointing, but did not impair function and not a problem for use at my office. (And certainly not worth the trouble to return) The tops swing easily and they fit under the standard height counter perfectly. Would I purchase them again? YES!

It is almost too large for the 13 gallon bags at the top, but it's big and holds a lot. The lid seemed to get in the way for me more than anything. I took it off and just use the wastebasket. You may want to use the next size up garbage bags, especially if they are cheaper so it doesn't tear because the opening is much wider than the base. The price was worth it. ($9.99)

Generally happy with it; however, the opening is only usable when you swing the lid down, whereas other models have lids that will work swinging down or up. Also, when you swing the lid down, the back of it rubs and catches on the adjacent surface (e.g., counter or wall) unless you keep it an inch or so away, which is annoying because it's always getting bumped/pushed back to the wall and then the lid starts catching again.
