Sterilite 1499 106 Quart Latching Box Plastic Stackable Storage Container Bin

I am a traveling art teacher so I have to roll around my supplies on a cart from classroom to classroom ! I love the latching locks that make them easy to open! I can store so many things in one and also fit other Sterilite containers inside too!

I bought a set of 6 of these. I use primarily for storage of fabrics. The saying who dies with the most fabric wins. I'm in a contest with paper and fabric as to which I'll win with. Store both in Sterilite drawers but so much ends up as over flow and need more storage as in STORE that stuff. Great these can see into them to ID what the contents are. Love that along with the locking lids and they stack well. Will buy more as needed. I've filled 4 just two left. Spring organizing is just around the corner so will definitely need more.

For the last 10 years I have organized a non-profit Halloween charity event for my daughter's schools. Over the last 5 years I have switched all of my prop storage over to the Sterlite 106 quart, clear box and it has made a huge difference. Now I can see everything I have stored and the boxes are the perfect size for volunteers to load large items and yet not be too heavy to lift. As well, they are extremely durable and easy to stack, which is a big deal for me as I now have over 100 in use. I would strongly recommend this product.

Actually having good quality storage boxes is a necessity for me... and the clear latching boxes specifically keep my relationship with my spouse on good terms!! ;) My husband is a very accepting and patient man but he is a minimalist by nature... and in the past, he has gotten a bit frustrated with my "stuff" As an avid collector of vintage Christmas decorations, vintage Halloween decorations, and many other unusual and Kitschy items, neat and durable storage solutions are a must! Some of my collectibles are really old and very fragile... some are paper and subject to getting ruined in most other storage boxes. Over my many years of collecting, I've tried numerous other storage boxes.... and I've learned from experience that the better made Sterilite clear boxes with the latching tops, will keep my things much more safe from damage. The clear latching boxes help keep me organized and they allow me to see what is inside so I can group items that are alike together.. Additionally, I use the latching boxes for my linens and blankets too. About a year or so ago, I had 2 platform beds custom built, taking into consideration the measurements of the 106 quart latching box, so the beds would have the right about of space underneath to accommodate quite a few of my clear Sterilite latching boxes.

The clearer and second gave a village that the latching lid is perfect for all my craft supplies. And you put them all on one shelf and see what's in there and even label them, and then they are secured even if they fall over with the latches, love it.

These are the best storage totes I've ever used, hands down. And they make awesome litter boxes too (although the Sterilite folks might cringe at this suggestion). Because they have a large footprint, I can put plenty of kitty litter in and everyone has a "clean spot" to go. Because they are tall, my fastidious girl who likes to really sling the litter around doesn't get it all over the floor. This latching box is a multitasking must have and I hope it's never discontinued.

The perfect size for holding my garland! I've recently acquired some really lush lighted garland to go around my doorway and this box is the perfect size to store it in when it's not holiday season. I love that the box is clear so I can see into it and know exactly which box I'm looking for without having to open all of them. The red lid makes it so Christmas-y, but the white lids would be perfect for everyday, year-round storage!
