Sterilite 7.5 Gallon TouchTop Wastebasket with Titanium Latch, (12 Pack)

Replacing with exact garbage pail that I've had for approximately 10 years, still worked but the spring top wasn't as tight. This my kitchen garbage pail, so used every day, multiple times. Just what I needed and at the correct size since the garbage is kept in a cabinet

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The Wastebasket was built strong and neat looking. It is the right size I expected for the kitchen. The easy touch and close operates quietly. I like the item.

Exactly what I needed. I wanted a can with a lid to put used cat litter in so that I did not have to take it out every day. This is just what I needed. I did not want the kind that opens with a pedal as that would restrict how I positioned it when cleaning the cat box. This tough latch is perfect. Keeps the odor in without purchasing the expensive ones made for the purpose.

I like this garbage pail but the lid broke after two years. Since I could not get a replacement, I just bought another one. Maybe by the time this one breaks, the lid will be redesigned or another company will make a more sturdy lid at this size.

The product is good, but the cover latch seems to be a quarter-short of making a secure closure. Otherwise, the product is just like the on I was replacing.

The trashcan looks nice. It fits easily in a smaller space and is easy to keep out of the way. However, I purchsed a lidded trashcan with my newly-adopted trash-picker dog in mind. This trashcan will NOT fit the bill. The lid does not snap in place; it merely rests on top of the can and can be easily knocked off by a nosy canine. It defeats the purpose of having a latch on the lid in the first place. I'm going to try hot-gluing the lid to the can. I mainly use it for office-type trash, not food scraps, so I don't use a trash bag in it anyway.

Product was advertised as a FOUR pack. I ordered and paid for a pack. They sent me ONE trash bin. I have been waiting for the seller to ship me the remaining 3, to NO AVAIL! Seller is not returning my calls and ignoring the whole situation.

It's so bad I return it,by shaking it once rid opened,and have close it 5-6 time a day

Cheap construction. The plastic 'latch' that holds the lid down broke in like 2 months and it is practically useless now.
