Size is perfect for our family of 4 for a full days worth of trash. Opted out of getting a foot pedal one, instead we took off the swinging part of the lid so the opening was bigger (and stayed cleaner) and was easier to throw trash into, still holds the bag on nicely. Works perfectly for us.

We replaced a much older version of this exact trash can. Lasts for MANY years. Bags fit well. The lid is eh... it's nice at first and then we toss it... it IS nice when you have company... but it's a wee bit difficult to get trash in with it up against a wall. And ya have to clean it.... so meh. I like our kitchen trash off in the corner out of the way and this one works so well. I love the sturdy quality of this can. Would I buy it again? Yes I did!

I really like this 13 gal trash can! Price was reasonable,came on timeb%26 the color I ordered! I like not having to raise the lid,to put anything in! Would I recommend this 13 gallon trash can? YES!!

I needed an affordable but large trash can for my bedroom and this can was exactly that. It was the perfect size to fit under my desk or to put by the door and it wasn't super expensive.

We like the fact that the trashcan is taller and has the lid so that our puppy can't get into the trash. We also like the fact that it uses the 13 gallon trash bags so we didn't have to upgrade to using the bigger size trash bags we like the fact that the trashcan is taller and has the lid so that our puppy can't get into the trash.

13-gallon bags fit fully inside without struggling to stretch the bag around the rim. Best for trash that is not very heavy because it is pretty big, but it's not a trash barrel! I recommend Great Value 13-Gallon Clear Drawstring Tall Kitchen Bags because you see no ugly overhang of the bag over the rim. Place 3.5 inches away from wall, and top swings freely and easily. Sticker on lid may not peel off easily, though. I really like it.

The only thing I don't like about this item, is once it gets to a certain level, the lid doesn't want to flip. And if you need to scape a dish off, you need to take the lid completely off, otherwise what you are scraping off will get all over the lid.

Can't lie…the white can I ordered not available,however the can is very sturdy, well made and the gray is okay. I love mainstay products please do not discontinue this brand!

I have no problem except the fact that i ordered a grey trash can and got a black one, which doesn't fit the color scheme of my room. The color matters. Give me what i paid for. However, the trash can is very nice, and i love the top. It glides up and down smoothly 👌. If it was grey, i would have been in love for the price. I would buy it again. I just don't know if i will get the color i want, which scares me. I switch trash cans with my daughter. She liked it as well and the color.
