Sterilite Large 45 Gallon Latching Storage Tote Boxes, Gray/Green, (4 Pack)

I loved these totes, The wheels make it easy to move. They hold lots of stuff, but there is a drawback, they are almost impossible to move once fully loaded. We moved to a new house recently and my husband kept accussing me of loading these totes with rocks, they are so heavy. Especially if it's linens, both bed and dining, or fabric for quilts etc. They get extremely unwheelly and awkward to move when loaded up. I thought I was saving space by using them but I ended wishing I had bought the smaller version, after wrassling them up a flight of stairs.

I use this tote to storage all my Christmas decoration and every year it comes out clean and in great condition. I also use them to keep my winter clothes clean and safe!

This product is great on so many levels. It meets all of our needs as event decorators. The wheels are an asset moving materials around a venue and loading/unloading. The price is unbeatable! Great value and quality. We've had 6 of them for over 4 years, and they are still "rolling" strong. We have your products in many sizes to handle smaller items. They stack so well.!

I purchased a 45 gallon Tote with wheels to store my water towables on my boat. While transporting the boat I was going down the highway at 65 mph. The wind caught the tote and blew it out. It stayed latched and all the contents were safe and unharmed. But what totally blew my mind away not one scratch, missing chunks, or any damage to the tote at all. WOW Sterilite What a Product.

This item is a great way to move your child into and out of housing for college as it has wheels so that you can roll the tote instead of having to use a handtruck. It also serves a great purpose as when she comed back home from college we just leave everything in there until she goes back up the following semester, thereby not having to pack or unpack at home. The only downside was that one of the five totes we purchased the wheel broke off at the pin. We are reported this to Sterilite and are hoping that they can send us a replacement wheel as the product overall is very usefull.

I bought one that is red in color because all I had were purple and pink storage boxes for the toys because my last child was a girl. I got this and was excited to see the wheels as well which make it great to cart around. Of course I will not be filling it with heavy things. This is the new toy box for when the grandkids come and it will serve the purpose well. I needed something larger than the other containers and something not just boy or girl so red is a pretty vibrant color to attract the kids and finally the toys fit!!!!

Purchased another Sterilite product with handles and wheels about 8 yrs ago still going strong!!! When needed more this is all I could find. Bought 4! They are the best! Bring back handles for easy moving up & down stairs. Thank you!

I have 4 bins this size. I use them to organize & store my outdoor gear. The bins fit perfectly in the cargo area of my mid-sized SUV. My only complaint is that they can easily be overloaded, resulting in warping at the top/middle. This could be prevented if the lid was redesigned to hang over more of the bin's top rim, thereby giving a stronger frame. This would also reduce cracking of the lid at the handle, which seems to be common, despite my care to avoid it. Pending this updated lid, short bungees work, as the rim of the bin is hollow, allowing bungee hooks a place to anchor.

The lid on the latch tote is not heavy enough on the latching ends. Many lids I found in the stores were torn at the latching end preventing the tote from actually latching. The plastic is too thin in that area of the lids. If it were doubled in thickness there, the lid would not be so prone to tear. I had one tear on me at home. This was due to the top of the inside of the tote having a pillow or other compressible item which the lid should easily have held down. The tote latched fine and then the lid tore.
