This is my 2nd purchase of these. Got another one because I got a new tree, so I now have 2 and they fit both trees perfectly. I had one already for my regular tree and just got another one, one of those prelit ones; I need permanent storage for that one, because I don't expect to use it again (already reviewed separately, at some length). I do wish these came in different sizes, because I'm kicking round the possibility of getting an 8-foot replacement tree, which I'm not sure this will accommodate--it specifies up to 7.5' in the description. But I'll have photos attached so you can see how it fits. The one with the assembled stand on top is holding the prelit tree, and the other is holding my regular tree.
Love these storage containers. I use them for Christmas Trees storage. Much better than the cardboard boxes the trees originally came in that were always splitting and tearing that has to be taped and re- taped. Love that they are stackable. Highly recommend this product.
So glad I bought this Sterilite tree storage bucket. Way better than the zip bags I used before that would rip or collapse in the garage. I love that the bucket keeps the tree upright instead of smashed down. The plastic is thick and sturdy, and the latch lid actually snaps tight and stays closed when moving it. The wheels are probably my favorite part — makes it super easy to roll in and out of storage without carrying all that weight. Fit my tree perfectly, and I still had a little room for extras like the skirt. Overall, it just makes post-Christmas cleanup way less stressful. Definitely recommend if you want something durable that'll last years
Perfect size for a 3-piece 6.5 foot Christmas tree, 4 strands of lights, a tree skirt and plenty of other decor. The 2 wheels on one side help to transport it. Besides being stored horizontally, it can stand upright to fit in a closet. Two locking handles snap closed to secure the box. Very sturdy plastic. Excellent value!!
It used to be a struggle carrying two big and heavy boxes but with the new Christmas Tree Boxes, it is a breeze. The collapsed trees (two different fullnesses, both 7.5 feet) fit easily in their boxes along with tree skirt, tree topper, etc. The boxes are light, easy to latch and the wheels allow them to be moved easily. They are also stackable, so take up less room for storage. I would highly recommend the Christmas Tree Boxes to anyone who would like an easy and dust free box to store their tree.
Absolutely perfect for someone whom owns a ton of trees . was able to fit 6 large trees inside this box . im Absolutely stunned at the quality of it an how much can actually fit. Definitely buying another one . also if trying to fit as many as i did make sure the branches are firmly back down or zip tied .
It's perfect and sturdy for my Christmas tree. Unfortunately one of the latches are missing for the lid. This was delivered to my home so not sure if it was even on there when they grabbed it. Just make sure both lid latches are on it or request a discount.
These came in imperfect shape, no cracks or broken pieces as I've seen with other reviews. They fit everything I needed to store, including the 3.5 foot Christmas tree that doesn't come apart. I purchased two so I could get all of the Christmas decorations into both and I could see what was in them so I could easily decide what needed to come out. Unfortunately, after I had everything cleaned up, inventoried and put in the containers I latched sides and one of the handles completely broke. They do look nice, they do hold a lot, and the wheels at one and helped with moving to the storage area, but I was very disappointed in the fact that one of the handles broke. I didn't want to unpack everything, return the container to the store and wait for another so I went ahead and kept it and use duct tape to keep the handle on. Disappointed with that part. The photo shows the two pieces that would have held the handle on if they had not snapped off.
These would be perfect except for the fact that I ordered two, and one had one handle that worked, one that was broken and the bin itself had large cracks going through it, and the other had one broken handle and one missing handle. I ordered pick up from Walmart, and didn't even get out of my car. The employee put them into the back of my three row seating SUV which had both rows down and ample room for the bins, so they were damaged before they were put into my vehicle. I tried to exchange them as soon as I got home and saw the damage, but apparently they were the last two in stock in my area and were unavailable for shipment. Because they were the perfect size and a good price, I kept them, glued and caulked the large cracks in the one bin, rigged the two broken handles and found a clamp to use in place of the missing handle. Hopefully they'll hold up for a few years. So, if you buy them in-store and verify they aren't broken, I'd recommend them for sure and give them 4 stars, as durability is still a bit of a concern.
Seriously - all these Christmas tree containers need to be 3-4 inches wider - it's like someone who has never put a large Chriatmas tree away designs these things! 2 tree parts fit fine - getting the third in is nearly impossible - and they are all the same. A few extra inches in width would make a huge difference. This one woukd be fine for a oencil or slim tree - but very difficult for a regular tree.
