[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a busy mom, I love having one place to keep all of our summer essentials. The Wheeled Footlocker fits sports gear, swim items, and all the extras while keeping everything organized and easy to find. The wheels make it simple to move from the house to the car, and the secure latches keep everything contained. It's been a game-changer for keeping our trunk clutter-free and making summer adventures a little easier!
These are nice with wheels. Stack well!
Good quality, they stack nicely, ample interior space as corners are square, good functional wheels, able to lock.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this Sterilite footlocker. The handles and wheels make it perfect for carting sports equipment and beach supplies. We need more of them.
I bought one of these about 5 years ago to put my pony harness in. It has held up well! The handles in the side and wheels make it easy to move from the barn to the horse trailer and back again when we get home. Since purchasing, it has traveled all over the states with me to various competitions- from one day events, to 3 day events (CDE). My harness was always safely stored inside thanks to the locking feature, ready to go and protected from the elements. Thru the years of constant use and sometimes slight abuse, (occasionally it traveled in the bed of the truck) it has stood up well. I am replacing it now, only because the plastic around the front handle has finally given way- letting the handle pop off. I will just keep this one in the barn from now on, putting other, lighter things in it- like flowers and jump cups. The only suggestion I can make is that maybe it comes with a removeable tray to toss smaller items in (gloves, snaps, bits, etc.) to keep them from falling to the bottom. Or maybe offer a set of stackable trays to fit inside (mix and match in various sizes) making one of these- the box for all your Odds & Ends? Great product!
I have purchase about 20 of these. I use these in Costa Rica with mission groups. I have all kinds of items that we take in these to the churches we work at. We load these on top of the bus. With hauling these on top of the bus, one addition that would be nice, would be a lip around the top edge so that when closed it would help to keep water (rain) out. This is the only reason I did not give it a 5 Star rating.
I live overseas and travel to/from frequently. I use these regularly as luggage because they are lighter and less expensive than an average suitcase and they're more difficult to crush. Overall, they perform well but there are several issues. Just about every time I travel with multiple footlockers I lose a handle off of one of them. The side handles really don't hold up and pop off easily. I have also had a few of them crack along the crease at the clasp preventing it from closing very well. The biggest complaint I'd have is that the lid doesn't close well. It's not even close to sealing around the top. If there's anything small inside, it'll come out. If your bags are in any kind of wind, dirt, or water...anything inside will get wet/dirty. I have overcome these issue by putting the contents inside space saver or ziplock type bags. I also never travel with these without 2 luggage straps which are connected over the existing clasps. So, even with the poor clasps, they tend to remain shut. If you're looking for a cheap, light weight alternative to travel with, these will work. But, if you have high expectations, you'll be let down.
I bought one for storing smaller items in my pickup bed. It leaks water in like a sieve. We get a 2 inch rain, I have 1.5 inches of water in the storage box. It has already cracked after only 2 months of use in cold weather. I suppose it would be fine for indoor use with limited movements, but is not suitable for any outdoor use. All I had in it was 6 plastic quarts of oil, some rope, a small piece of carpet (18" x 36"), and and 15 feet of 3/8 tow chain.
So on the order, it said that there was supposed to be two delivered not one yes it said order out for delivery one item but I thought it was referring to it as a package item. They're very clearly says a two pack of teal foot lockers and I only received one would've never paid $105 for one teal footlocker, especially when I wanted black in the first place, but they were out of stock and it was only 80 for the one and I paid 105 for one
never arrived but tracking stated delivery arrived. I called the police for a formal complaint and Walmart didn't send a replacement or a refund to card used for transaction.
