Cool to the touch for sure. I ordered King in soa blue. Beautiful color. Washed on delicate, using mild detergent, no softener, as soon as they arrived. Washed up nice, but know you must remove immediately and either fold or put in the bed. The wrinkle like crazy - due to the fabric. No piling at all. Very soft. I find the beauty in the wrinkly cozied up in sheets, if you don't like wrinkles do t order. However I love them and will surely order again. These do regulate the temp for sleeping, I'm a hot sleeper and these nailed the coolness factor for sure. Love them
