I recently purchased an indoor "tabletop fireplace" from WalMart and was needing the ethanol fuel for burning. The description of this item clearly stated that this was suitable for indoor use, but the product labeling even more clearly stated for outdoor use only - many times. Luckily WalMart has very good return policies and I don't fault them. I contacted the manufacturer multiple times asking the same question about my intended use and simply got an AI generated response that didn't address my specific question. Although my gut tells me this would be ok for my intended use, I don't want to take any chances and returning the product.

The website says suitable for indoor use. I purchased it for my indoor table top fire pit . The odor is nauseating end of burn. The label on the bottle says charcoal starter . Certainly not what I wanted.

This product was advertised as fuel for indoor fire pits. It doesn't work. I have since learned that indoor fire pits required liquid fuel not. It was a waste of money.
