We bought this little number to have for heating food in case of an electrical outage. We were prepping for the snow of Feb. 2026 in North Carolina. That was when my state pretended it was actually Minnesota. We're just not equipped for that in the sunny South. It is natural that our electricity did not go out because I had this handle little number and a couple of butane burners. Stuff you need to know. If you want to actually cook with it, buy the wickless Sterno that is sold as gel fuel. We bought wicked fuel which is for chafing (holding warm) not cooking. The gel fuel is hotter. Wicked fuel is perfect for reheating a can of Chef Boy Ar Dee or soup. It was a little too hot for my knock off Olive Garden Alfredo breadstick dip. I put the pot into a skillet with water to temper the heat and not scorch my sauce. I've had fun with it. I've been using it to hold stuff hot on our kitchen counter when we serve meals. It does not get so hot at the bottom that it overheats my countertop. It doesn't put out so much heat that it menaces my upper cabinets. My only very minor complaint is that the bottom of it is a little sharp. I am afraid it will scratch my counters. I've been putting it on a silicone pot holder. That is the reason why I dinged it one star in two categories. it's a great little stove that I highly recommend.
Got this for my daughter to have when lights go out for to long. Perfect size to heat water or soup. She has all electric house.
it is going to be a good thing during power outage especially for quicky meals that don't require a lot of time.
I like the small size and sturdiness. Great addition to my emergency preparation supplies.
Looks good! Haven't had to use yet
functional, good add to an emergency weather kit.
This is a cheap and easy to use stove. It is very well-made and packs flat. My only problem with it is that it takes a long time to boil water. It's great for keeping something warm or cooking at a low to medium heat.
My sister has one and said it worked great during a recent power outage so I got it for my emergency box. There is only one in the package even though the ad shows two.
Foldable pot stand useful for any type of outdoor cooking and even indoors with proper ventilation and fuel type.
The visual seems to show TWO stoves, and without reading carefully I assumed I was buying two … only to find one stove arrived. A bit of false advertising for someone in a hurry
