This item is only rated at 500lbs as stated in included instructions, not 650 as advertised. Also, the box shows "no drilling required", but manual states to drill 4 holes per leg. 16 drill holes total. I guess you don't need to drill if those holes already exists in your truck bed (these are custom holes that few if any truck has). Fit is quite flimsy, I wouldn't even bet on 500lbs capacity. The 4 posts are held up by 2 bolts on top of the truck bed and 2 bolts on the side of the bed on each post (4 bolts/post). Most truck beds are made of a thin sheet metal. not very sturdy hold bolting to thin sheet metal. I was under the impression that these racks goes into the 4 holes in most truck beds (these holes comes from the factory and made for racks to be inserted into them). Not the case.

Item arrived and was obviously a used item. Damaged paint at all the installation points. Item did not have clevis as indicated in the photos. Item is listed as rated to 650lbs but documentation indicates only rated to 500lbs. Powder coating inside threads on bolt holes.

Shipping was five days late and it was destroyed…I didn't return it because it was a must have product.
