Ive seen this Firestone bread for awhile, but as Im always scared to try something new and waste money if I dont like it, well, THIS IS NOT THE CASE! Move over Texas Toast Cheesy Garlic frozen and overly salty bread... I FOUND BETTER! Applebee's used to have this ype of bread many years ago, and served with every meal, if even a salad. I love the texture and the flavor as the garlic seasoning is just right, not overbearing or tasteless. I will now buy this for my homeade cavatini Supreme. There are two large egg shaped sized bread in pkg, You can use 1 for 2 to 4 servings. It holds up very well to folds also.
I love naan and these are really good for what they are. Not hugely authentic but as good as it gets if you're shopping at Walmart. They're not fluffy and delicate like the best naan you get in fine Indian restaurants but they do have a smokey garlic taste which isn't bad at all. They go great with my homemade Tandoori chicken - just open the package and heat them for a couple of minutes - so I can't complain. I also use them as the crust for homemade pizza and that really tastes fantastic. If you're looking for low-carb, low-calories bread this naan is probably not what you're going to go with but if you want an easy and garlicky addition to your cooking that even your kids will like then you should definitely check these out.
eating it at room temp or refrigerated will taste wrong, the texture will be off, it will taste like cardboard. if you microwave it for 50 seconds, it's like fresh bread. unfortunately it's definitely Not shelf stable and will mold faster than you think. always look very closely tho- the garlic inside the bread looks like mold at first glance.
These are so tasty. The texture is very good and that hint of garlic adds to the flavor. I use these for Italian cheese bread. I brush them with butter, sprinkle on some basil and oregano, along with mozzarella cheese, bake until crispy brown on the bottom. Very good. More flavorful than plain pizza dough and it takes just minutes to prepare. Pair with a salad and you have a quick meal.
Now Stonefire Original Naan is one of those things I always feel good about grabbing. It has become such a staple around here. My kids absolutely love naan as a snack. Sometimes we warm it up and slice it into little triangles, and it disappears faster than I can set it on the table. Other times, we turn it into the easiest little homemade pizzas. A bit of sauce, cheese, whatever toppings we have on hand, and dinner is handled without any fuss. It is also wonderful paired with butter chicken. Soft, warm, and perfect for scooping up every last bit of sauce. The texture is tender with just enough chew, and it heats up beautifully. It is simple, versatile, and always a good choice in our house. I keep it on hand because I know it will be enjoyed every single time
Love this NAAN. Whether you want to use it for pocket sandwiches or filling it full of salad.. I like to cut it in for equal pieces put it in the toaster, cover it with real butter and sprinkle it with garlic powder and a little Parmesan cheese. Excellent choice multiple uses..
This NAAN bread is the best. The flavor is wonderful with Butter Chicken, some soup, salad and the list goes on and on! Try it you'll be glad you did! yum yum!!
Soft, flavorful, and just what I wanted. I would recommend trying this with Tasty Bites Chickpea Tikka Masala for a quick meal that tastes like you spent all day making it. Add Great Value Jasmine rice in a pouch to wow your fam, friends, and anyone you want to impress.
I love these little things they make the greatest little pizzas. Throw a litte melted butter and a bunch of mozzarella cheese, and that is them put in your toaster oven and cook it and it is delicious. highly recommend.
These Nan -breads were a substitution for the ones I originally wanted to purchase. They just didn’t seem to have a Smokey stone fired taste. They were actually a little on the bitter side. This of course did not pair well with my peanut butter, banana, crunchy granola and honey filling.
