I used to be able to buy this in Walmart but they no longer have it on the shelf. It costs about $5 more per container than it was so I'm going to try to get it somewhere else when I go out of town to shop. Other than that, it is the best Mango Chutney I have purchased without making my own which is a time saver.
I have a recipe that I need Mango Chutney and this really hits the spot. This Mango Chutney is so good I could just eat it right out of the jar. I have to order more😊
I love Chutneys, this one is one of my favorite. Pares well with grilled chicken breast, on a hamburger, and other meats. I listed my two favorites. I need to buy more than one jar next time!
There is such a variety of jams, jellies and dips! I love Stonewall Kitchen! You must take a look at their website!!
I love the mango chutney! It has a great taste and the right amount of chunkiness. I use it as a topping on baked salmon. Very tasty!
Quality and ingredients great. Taste awesome. A bit sweet but I like it on my food to bring sweetness to it. Added to my burrito bowl
I've ordered this delicious mango chutney various times. It's delicious with chicken, turkey, or any kind of meats. Also on a sandwich. The ingredients are a perfect balance. Good quality of chutney, and great taste.
I enjoyed eating this mango chutney with spicy Indian-style chicken. It added a little bit of sweetness. I really love what Stonewall Kitchen is doing, and will order from them again, trying other flavors next time.
I've never had mango chutney before, but thought it would be good on some Mediterranean diet dishes I was trying. The taste was very good, though a bit sweet. That's probably because the second ingredient is cane sugar... I would lessen the sugar and preferably use fruit to sweeten instead. I downgraded one start due to seed oil being used (why???) and guar gum filler (again... why????). Eliminate those 2 ingredients and go easier on the sugar and it would be 5 stars. Goes nicely on a pita with falafel, onion, peppers, tomatoes, humus, feta cheese and a scoop of this mango chutney to add a little sweet zing.
I think if you like classic chutney, with curry, you'll probably love this. We had hoped the 'chutney' part was more about the mix of ingredients and looked forward to using it when we cooked chicken or pork. Unfortunately it really does have curry, and if you don't like curry, you won't like this--it's subtle, but really, curry is curry. We'll give our mostly full jar to one of our kids who likes curry, just not for us.
