Crowd-Pleasing Appetizer You Can Make in Minutes

Samantha April 20, 2026

This red pepper jelly is a staple in my kitchen for entertaining. It is perfect poured over cream cheese and served with crackers. The flavor has just the right balance of sweet and mild heat, which makes it a crowd favorite. It is my go to appetizer for parties because it is quick, simple, and always a hit.

easy appetizer

EM February 11, 2026

I use this to make a quick little snack or appetizer for unexpected guests or when i need something really fast. i serve it poured on top of a block of cream cheese with crackers. it can be addicting. not spicy at all and its very sweet. the combination goes well and its great on toast or in recipes. If you make crockpot meatballs or smokies sub this for the grape jelly!

Best Pepper Jelly on the Market

Sandra April 9, 2026

Best tasting I've found on the market. Mix it with Cream Cheese and serve with Ritz crackers or toasted Pita points. Yum! It's sweet and not too hot, but you get the flavor of the peppers coming through. My Walmart in Chesapeake, VA is never out of stock.

Pepper jelly

Nita March 12, 2026

This pepper jelly is so good. I don't like spicy food at all, but it's not spicy. Just the right amount of sweet and heat. The strawberry flavor taste really good with smoked cream cheese. One of my favorite afternoon snacks. Will buy again, I make a great charcuterie plate for myself.

A novel product.

JAMES February 18, 2026

Read about it several times...sometimes mixed with other ingredients for a dip. My wife remembered it from years ago. Found it to have a novel taste, somewhat sweet, a little tangy, only a little spicy...just something entirely different but enjoyably so. You'll have to figure out what you like it with.

A Must-Have Pantry Staple

Pattie January 31, 2026

I've been a fan of Stonewall Kitchen for years, and this Hot Pepper Jelly is yet another winner from a brand I completely trust. Stonewall Kitchen started humbly at a local farmers' market back in 1991 with just a handful of hand-labeled items, and today they're a powerhouse with an ever-growing family of like-minded lifestyle brands. They consistently deliver expertly made products using premium ingredients, and their full line—from jams and jellies to sauces, baking mixes, mustards, and beyond—is top-notch and award-winning. This Hot Pepper Jelly strikes the perfect balance of sweet and savory with a nice kick of heat from the peppers—nothing overwhelming, just enough to make things interesting. It's incredibly versatile and so good in so many things! The classic no-nonsense appetizer is unbeatable: simply pour it over a block of cream cheese and serve with slices of crusty French bread or crackers—guests always rave about it and ask for the recipe. I also love spreading it on bagels or scones for a quick breakfast treat with a spicy twist. And if you're into the super-popular Boursin cheese, and pistachio dip that often calls for hot honey, swap in this jelly instead—it adds that same sweet-heat vibe but with a deeper, more complex pepper flavor that takes the dish to another level. Whether you're hosting a casual gathering or just want an easy upgrade to your snacks, this is an essential pantry item. The quality is consistent, the flavor is addictive, and it's made with care—no shortcuts here. Highly recommend stocking up on this one (and exploring the rest of their lineup while you're at it). Stonewall Kitchen never disappoints!

Delicious Jelly

Ashley October 12, 2025

I love the balance of sweet and savory with this. The texture was perfect as it wasn't clumpy but on the other end of the spectrum, it wasn't runny. Perfect consistency to pair with toast. I use it for a dip made with cream cheese and it's a huge hit!

Not hot or peppery, very sweet.

anonymous July 27, 2025

I expected more pepper flavor but it is more sweet. I bought to use on a 8oz brick of cream cheese and served with crackers. Everyone liked it but comments were it is more sweet and not peppery. It is good enough to eat on toast or english muffin. I am thinking to mince some peppers to add to spice it up.

This would have been delicious. YOU MUST EXAMINE THE JAR AND LID ON EACH ONE. I BOUGHT A FEW JARS. THE ONE I SENT TO MY DAUGHTER. THE LID WASNT SEALED When I checked all the lids were all no sealed properly. The whole batch could have been Tainted WITH FOOD POSION.
