I was on a search for a shelf stable salsa verde for those times I don't want to make it fresh and had been very disappointed in what I had tried so far. Enter this one: a definite winner! Mild enough to please everyone yet flavorful enough to add the punch you want. We will stock up, for sure.

We are buying this again. It is a great change from just red salsa. Great on eggs!

I must be honest in sharing that I have not made homemade salsa verde. That being said, I don't plan on making it in the near future. I am on my third jar of 4 orders Ed and I eat on everything I can. For breakfast I make a whole grain tortilla with scrambled egg and the salsa. Divine. If anyone has made homemade salsa and would Like to disagree, let me know!
