I love the lemony tang of this lemon curd. Add a dollop to whipped cream to transform into lemon whipped cream. Spread between sugar cookies to cream a tasty sandwich cookie. Lots of uses.
This beats my homemade and saves me time. Quite tangy and fresh. This can go straight into a tart or can be baked in lemon bars. It's ready to go as is. Top of the line curd!
If you want lemon curd, this is the best tasting lemon curd and a great price.
Stonewall kitchen's lemon curd is the best. I have a topping I use over fruit, lemon curd and plain Greek yogurt plus honey and vanilla and I only use Stonewall ‘s lemon curd. I've shared this recipe with friends and when they made it they said it wasn't as good as mine and I said it's because you didn't use Stonewall Kitchens lemon curd. Now when I share the recipe I add you must use Stonewall Kitchen Lemon Curd because it's the best!
This product exceeded my expectations by a huge milestone. I used it to finish off a dessert (limoncello ice cream with marble lemon curd) when my would-be homemade lemon curd failed from using frozen ultra-pasteurized cream (a lesson learned!). Short on time, I decided to try a commercial product and found that Stonewall Kitchen had a top reviewed one ideal that's ideal for desserts. I was initially hesitant because my ice cream was otherwise homemade. Much to my surprise, this lemon curd looked a beautiful brilliant yellow, had perfect consistency, and tasted (imho) just like homemade lemon curd. It worked perfectly in my recipe and I couldn't have been happier. I like the natural ingredients and will definitely consider it again in the future. PS: I think adding a little vanilla flavor would help even more.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A delicious lemon curd that I've enjoyed since discovering it about 3 years ago. I especially like mixing into some plain yogurt.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first tried this amazing lemon curd wile staying at a bed and breakfast in Nantucket. It's delicious. I purchase it regularly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Use this like icing between layers on a cake, or pipe it into cupcakes!. always a great unsuspected flavor hit!
How dare you send me my 4 jars that will expire in 13 weeks because you don't want them to go bad in your warehouse.Furthermore put a disclaimer on this product that it only has a shelf life of 6 months so retired people like me on social security won't buy in bulk to save on the shipping and be stuck with a product that is past its prime !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was so disappointed because your distributer sent me the jars I requested and received that had an expiration date on the jars' labels saying "Enjoy by 18 NOV., 2025", which was before or at the time that I received them. Strangely they had a large typed sticker on the bubble wrap around them saying "EXP 08/22/27" with another sticker saying "Stonewall Kitchen Curd" with a "serial %23 and 11.5 oz". Obviously, I was going to believe the date on the jars' labels and not a label stuck on the wrapping. I was very disappointed because I have bought this Lemon Curd from a Stonewall Kitchen directly and loved it. I went to their website to order more but asked if there was a store in Atlanta where I could buy it directly and they told me Walmart. I did call you about this and you very nicely offered to reimburse me with no argument or having me take it to one of your stores in order to be reimbursed. I think you have reimbursed me for 3 of the 5 jars.
