I bought this for my four year old. My husband tested it. He said it is very bitter, so it should work for nail biters. I couldn't get myself to use it on my child though, because kids tend to eat a lot of food with their hands. Everything would taste horrible. Also, a heads up for guys, it does add shine to your nail.

Got this for my child who was biting her nails. I had tried another brand which didn't work at all. This did the trick, she hated the taste and asked me to stop putting it on her nails because it tasted so bitter. It took only two weeks and she no longer bites her nails. Would definitely recommend

Alittle pricier than I'd prefer. However it DOES work! I purchased for my daughter who is struggling with nail biting. And it's really helped her! It definitely is a yucky taste, so it's trained her not to mess with her nails, and they've been growing better now. I had purchased another one prior and it just didn't deter her enough, but THIS one did! I recommend

This product was recommended for my granddaughter to help her from keeping her thumb out of her mouth when she os tired or falling asleep. Applying was easy, and there was no smell. It does have a bitter taste, so it did work. We really were not getting it for growing nails at this time. but if you have a habit of biting your nails, i highly recommend this.

My husband has a terrible habit of biting his nails. We have tried many products some worked and some didn't work at all. The ones that did work were also polishes but they did not seem to adhere long enough to produce results. This Stop Nail Biting Treatment is a clear polish with a bitter taste. Apply two coats, twice daily for three months. He's only two weeks into using this treatment and it is discouraging him from biting his nails. The wide brush/wand goes all the way to the bottom of the bottle to ensure you can easily get all the product out of it. It's described as bitter and it is but has an aftertaste that has prevented him from unknowingly bite them. I'm thrilled! He's realizing now just how often he was doing it, so that's also a plus to get him into the habit of stopping. I highly recommend giving this Stop Nail Biting Treatment a try, especially if you have used a polish type before and it failed.

The smell and taste is absolutely awful. Very similar to nail polish remover. It's helping break the habit with our daughter way easier than we expected. She doesn't even want her hand under her nose on the days we apply it. She's 9 and this is the first time we've ever seen her nails grow past the skin.

Overall a good product, works well, dries fast, doesn't come off easily and no overly strong odor. Quite expensive for such a small amount hence the 4 stars but overall gets the job done.

This product came just in a little bubble wrap and no packaging. It had stickiness all over it but still could not open the wrap or the bottle. Sent email to vendor and they will resend product the proper way of mailing it to me as shown in the picture when I ordered it.
