This is such a cool idea. I placed it in my kitchen to prevent my phone from getting wet and keeping it out of the way while it charged or on speakerphone. It works quite well but, so far, I've only used it for my lightweight, “mini” phone. Interested to see how it fares with with (slightly) heavier items over time.

This is a really clever idea that I wouldn't have thought of until I saw this product existed. I have a cramped counter in my kitchen where the family charges phones. I was excited that this works with the existing outlet cover, because the outlet in question has USB ports too so is not a totally standard outlet area. I am a major novice with all of this (have never even replaced an outlet cover). I turned off the outlet at the breaker box to install just to be on the extra safe side. Unfortunately for me, my outlet cover did not come off even after taking out the screws. Maybe I just wasn't using enough force but it seemed to be really stuck in there. This is an issue with my house and not at all the product - you just might want to make sure your outlet cover is easily removed before you purchase this.

Such a neat outlet shelf! It fits perfectly too. It was very easy to put together and it is very sturdy. You can use it with the echo dot or even the larger screened devices. The material is thick and holds up well. You can get other sizes for different outlets, or even if your outlet is sideways instead of vertical. It's great for organization and perfect when trying to declutter space of shelves/countertops.

I have to say I love this little extra shelf. I originally wanted it to put the cell phone on top of it while charging, so I was going to install it on an outlet, but my husband installed it over a light switch instead and it has been great. It's on the kitchen outlet so now I have a little shelf to put just about anything. I definitely want more shelves to put around the house, one for the entrance switch where we could put our car keys for example.

Most often if not we need a perch to put cell phones on when we put them to charge. That's what I'm using it for. Easy to install around the socket. The whole family uses it, sometimes other odds and ends can be put up too. What a useful thing this is

This was super easy to install. It also makes more room. I dont have to move everything to get to the plug in or to unplug something. I could keep my hair and face products in the cabinet below the sink. Ones i dont use everyday, i keep there. The ones that i use frequently, i keep out. Usually all in the way of the plug. This is super easy to install, 2 screws and thats all. Doesn't get much easier than that.

This is a nice little outlet shelf. Was easy to install, just take off outlet plate, place shelf up against wall and screw plate back in place. However my outlet only had a single screw in the center versus two screws at top and bottom. It's a little wiggly but I think the double screw outlets would be more stable. The larger ball shaped 4th gen echo will sit on it but is really a little too big. An echo dot would fit better. I would like to get another shelf for the double outlet in kitchen to get the google show up off of the counter top. Be prepared to coil up the device cord and maybe have a cord tie on hand.

This works and seems strong but has a little room for improvement. When picking an outlet, make sure the outlet cover is already flush with the wall (no gaps) or this will make the gaps worse. Also. The design lets the shelf slide down when the weight of a phone is put on it, leaving a gap in the shelf's plate at the bottom. A simple fix of the company adding more of a backing at the top would fix this problem. I have new, standard outlet covers so I imagine many will have this same gaping problem. One star taken off for that. Otherwise, this is a simple but brilliant idea. This is perfect for by the bedside or guest room where people will want to charge phones or other small devices. It could also be used to store keys by a door on an outlet up higher. Again, good idea, but needs one fix. It works as intended just the aesthetic is off a bit with the gap (see photo). Even with this, this power perch outlet shelf is genius and I recommend it!
