Storex 2-Drawer Locking Mobile Filing Cabinet Letter

[Employee of walmartcanada] Opened the box and it was broken! Cheap quality. Buy something better

This cabinet is decent for the price, it fits lots of files folders and is easy to move around with the castor wheels. However it appears cheaply made and when you open either drawer the cabinet starts to tip forward. I had to place a heavy item on top of the cabinet to prevent it from falling over. Either way for $50 it does the job it's intended for.

My new file cabinet is very lightweight and,as a result, requires care when fully opening the drawers. Nothing has broken yet but I must treat it carefully or it will be a mess. I wish I'd spent a bit more money and bought something more substantial.

This item is very flimsy and made of a very thin plastic material. The edges are so sharp that I cut my finger on it the very first time I tried to use it. It is supposed to be able to use letter size and legal size hanging files but it was a struggle trying to insert the hanging folders.

Arrived scratched and with a broken plastic piece. Still functional but did not get a "new product" feel from it. Works normally but did not feel sturdy. If you load up only one drawer and open it, the unit tips forward...careful with your toes ! Considering returning this plastic filing cabinet. For what you get in terms of build quality and uusability, it seems pricey.

The item is not at all what I expected. I know that it is a plastic filing cabinet instead of metal, however I still would have expected some sort of gliders on the drawers for easier opening, as well as something to prevent the drawers from tipping/falling out when open

Would be useful for long term storage but if you are looking for something that allows you to load it with files and access them an a regular basis, this is not for you. Once loaded with files the drawers are difficult to pull out. Many times I felt the drawer pulls might snap just opening it as it doesn't have slides, the whole thing drags on itself. As the unit is square, it will topple over very easily with a drawer open more than halfway. It was an unusable product for me as I am in and out of the drawers daily. Really the only use I could see for this would be to load it up and forget it. Long term storage only and deal with the frustration of use maybe a couple times a year. Other than that, avoid this product.

If you're looking for a filing cabinet to hold and keep your household (important) documents, this is it. But, consider that it is not fire proof, or very solid (since its made of plastic). The locking system, though practical, is not very strong. Wouldn't use this in a professional office setting.

Nice and lightweight, fully assembled. The only thing is it is not very sturdy as a metal file cabinet, but it fits my purposes.

It's a nice cabinet. All plastic and the top had a crack in the right hand corner. I didn't send it back as I needed it right away. Otherwise it serves it's purpose. I figure it was dropped before it came to me.
