Storex Low-Profile Plastic File Drawer, Letter/Legal, Black

I've put all my files in this little file cabinet and my tower on top. It's great because now, when I need to go in the back of my tower, I just roll it out. So now I have easier access to my files and my tower.

Does the job. I wasn't expecting a James Bond proof cabinet in this price range and I got what I expected. It's secure enough for things you want kept safe. It's a hard, good quality plastic filing cabinet with lots of space. Super easy to assemble. The wheels just snap on and they're optional. They glide very well over my carpet. The only thing is if there's something on top like my radio, the drawer and lock mechanism can be fidgeting to open/close or lock. Just don't keep anything on top and it's great.

Bought this item and everything looks as described. It is made of plastic and serves the purpose temporarily. If somebody is looking for more secured and strong, pick a metal drawer.

Nice to look at but just to cheaply made. Lock it all you want, any one can get into it. I lost the key and using an ordinary table knife, I pried a bit down in the corner where the lock is and the plastic shattered. I opened the door, grabbed the file I wanted, swore a couple of times, closed the now no longer fully intact door and went back to work. I am going to answer yes to the question about whether I would recommend this to a friend because they are attractive. Just don't bother to think locking them will keep anyone out.

I bought this to hold some paperwork that I didn't want my toddler getting into. It serves its purpose, but it's very cheaply made and flimsy. It'll keep a toddler out, but nobody else. When locked, you can easily pull the drawer open if you use a bit of force.

I like the cabinet. There is a little bar with sticky tape on it that I am not sure what it's for. Also with the files in it. It tips over easily, but I put my printer on top of it & that stopped it tapping.

Don't buy this piece of junk. The lock didn't work properly from day 1 and then after 2 days the whole lock system came out. It is made out of some cheap plastic and is extremely weak. Don't put your money into garbage like I did.

The mechanism to lock was so poorly made it broke as I was using the key to unlock it. (The entire piece came apart) Also the lock can be opened without the key because the plastic can easily be moved aside to let the lock open. Truly a worthless thing.

I thought for the money that this would be a decent file cabinet but I was wrong. I is CHEAP. Plastic is warped. There is a long black piece that goes somewhere but one end is broken off! Why have a lock on it when clearly I could pry this piece of junk open with just a screwdriver. I was so excited to get this cabinet but now after seeing it I am TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED. The company needs BETTER quality control. If they did, then this cabinet would NOT have passed inspection. Very disappointed in this product.
