Every time I order these, they come back and tell me that they are UNAVAILABLE!!!! So WHY DO YOU EVEN OFFER THEM as I shop saying that they are UNAVAILABLE!!!?? I purchase other sauces, tortillas, Cole slaw etc to go WITH the enchiladas, etc. As with my order on February 3rd! It's aggravating and I end up spending a lot of money for things I don't need now! IF SOMETHING IS NOT AVAILABLE….TELL ME “BEFORE I ORDER IT!
Tastes good and easy to prepare. Portion is great for one person and easy and quick to prepare. Good when you are too busy or don't have time to cook a meal.
The best tasting single stouffers meal, in my opinion. I like that the tortill doesn't get hard and chewy at the ends in the microwave as long as you spoon the cheese and rice sauce over top as directions state. Great little lunch or small dinner along with maybe a salad and you'll feel satisfied for awhile. You really can't go wrong with stouffers meals but I'd try this or the potato bake if you're new to them and want a very positive first experience!
This is very good. However, it is out of stock more than in. This product is hard to get
This is the first and last dinner of this type that I will order. Taste good and I don't have to make a huge pan that we never finish. I know what you're thinking, just freeze the leftovers. Well with this tasty dinner, I don't have to. Enjoy.
Just one enchilada left me still hungry, so I think this meal needs 2 enchiladas. Taste here was just okay, so I had to add more toppings and seasoning to improve the flavor. Does not need any more salt, has plenty. Cooked up, the meal does not look anything like the photo on the box. It looks like a flatter enchilada floating in a sea of cheesy queso sauce and vegie white rice. The rice was also floating in the cheesy queso sauce and had plenty of chopped red peppers, a few green pepper pieces, but no corn in the one I got. The corn tortilla enchilada was not stuffed full and round with beans and white meat chicken as described and pictured on the box. The enchilada was flatter and Stouffer's was kind of stingy with the chicken quantity, filling taste was kind of bland, but chicken and beans cooking and texture were spot on. Per box microwave instructions, after 4 minutes peel back film and spoon sauce over the enchilada, making sure you get both ends too to keep the tortilla from drying out and becoming tuff and chewy. Replace film and continue cooking. At the end before removing from the microwave, I peeled off film and sprinkled some shredded cheese on the enchilada and reheated for 15 to 30 seconds. I used some Pepper Jack cheese instead of cheddar cheese as pictured on box photo. After removing from microwave, I added some more toppings such as Tabasco hot sauce, dried chopped chives, and sour cream. You could use red or green salsa hot sauce instead.
I got the Stouffer's Chicken Enchilada to compare it to the Lean Cuisine Chicken Enchilada Suiza since they're made by the same company. I enjoyed the enchilada from Lean Cuisine more because of the sour creamy sauce and felt the enchilada in the other meal was grainy. I think the meal had been mishandled in that it had thawed and was re-frozen before it came to me. The rice mixture in the meals was similar, if not identical. I will not buy the Stouffer's version again.
Stouffer's frozen dinners that I have lately been less than impressed to the point of getting the act have left so much to be desired. The overall taste profile of Stouffer's frozen chicken enchilada meal is resembling dirt and dust from the much more creamier yummy yummy taste that is the flavor profile Lean cuisine chicken enchilada has and I would not ever recommend this for anyone that you have ever wanted to even harm in life it's girls it's cardboard and dust and dirt
I'd give this zero stars, but that wasn't an option. This was disgusting. The only good thing about it was the Rice, the enchilada was not something that would feed to an animal. The tortilla was.doughy, the filling was both unappetizing in taste and appearance, and I couldn't even tell that it was supposed to be chicken and beans.
the seasoning in the enchilada was uneven, a lot on one end little on the other, very little rice and a lot of watery fluid, I tried two different meal both of them were disgusting, threw them all in the trash. I am going to stop get deliveries from Walmart and what is going on with stouffer's
