This Stouffer's Five Cheese Lasagna (96 oz Party Size) is everything you want in a comfort-food classic! Every layer is rich and cheesy with a creamy blend of mozzarella, ricotta, parmesan, asiago, and romano that melts beautifully. It bakes up perfectly in the oven with just the right balance of sauce and cheese so each bite feels hearty and satisfying. The party size is fantastic for family dinners, gatherings, or anytime you want a delicious meal without the time and effort of homemade lasagna. Easy to prepare, comforting to eat, and always a crowd-pleaser — definitely five stars! 😋🔥🍽️
I was craving lasagna that I haven't had in a long time as it takes so long to prepare. My mom used to make the best lasagna and I miss it so much. So I figured since Walmart had a manufacturer discount I would give it a try. It turned out great and hit the spot. Not as good as my mom's, nothing would be, but definitely brought back memories of good times. Very flavorful and the balance between cheese and sauce was perfect. The only complaint I would have is the long cooking time, but with this size that should be expected. I would highly recommend letting it defrost for a few days in the refrigerator. Planning ahead will save you a lot of time and save energy spent in the oven. Overall, I highly recommend it.
Been buying Stouffer's Products since our kids were young for a Fast Meal. Highly recommended Lasagna if you're not in the mood to make homemade. Doesn't have that fake taste, tastes like a real meal. Some of the other Stouffer products we like are Salisbury Steak, Grandma's Chicken and Rice, Meatloaf, Chicken Alfredo and various other single meal sizes
You wonder why I am all over the place on my rating, well... Its good, it really is, but you can tell its not homeade of course, with a more tomato base flavor that is a tad wattered down. But that is not so much my issue is the very fact that, When you cook it, and you wait for it to rest, it is still hard to get out of the pan as it does still run. But, there is not much you can do about it because there is nothing really to hold it together, The Lasgnas with meat in them hold up better. Maybe Stouffers could add a tastless thickener to this to make it hold up better, who knows. Still it will feed you and add garlic bread and a salad, its a well rounded meal.
they used to be great but the last few times I've ordered this and made it for my family it tasted waxy and cold on The Middle it just doesn't seem like it used to as if maybe an ingredient changed or something changed because it's not coming out the same
At $17 plus tax it's a bit pricey, but Walmart no longer offers their Great Value version which was just as good, but significantly cheaper. When I have the time I make it myself and get a much better product, this is a bit light on the cheese and very heavy on tomato sauce to keep their end down, but the overall product suffers a bit for it. In a nutshell, it's not terrible, but it's also not a good value so you're much better off making your own. For $17 I could make a lasagna that's mostly cheese and very little sauce (and still have plenty left over for garlic bread).
This lasagna has lots of great sauce which is no small thing but the pasta in the middle never really baked so it tasted like paste. In addition to following the directions, I cooked it, covered, for another 45 minutes at 350° which was better, not great. Ended up breaking up the layers (it's Very thick) which also helped but it was a lot more work and still not any better than the local generic which is very pasty. Disappointing.
This was to be the center piece for six senior citizens who do not often get good, well prepared food; They didn't get it this time, sadly. I spent more than I would for several days work to end up with plates half eaten. The texture of the pasta was akin to play doh while the tomato sauce had everything to do with ketchup and litte to do with the thick, rich sauce usually part of lagsagna. The price was far too high for the amount and quality that I expect from Stouffers. I would apply for a refund but it was served and eaten. However, that's an error that will not be repeated. Use the amount spent for this, buy fresh and make one yourself, it's not hard just a little time consuming. As to the much advertised five cheeses, I could dectet one, possibly two but in the overall lack of flavour I cannot be sure. In short, when considering buying this, don't. You and yours will live to regret it.
😤Don't waste your 💰.. I've had this brand but not the 5 Cheese Lasagna.. It had Cottage Cheese in it. On the back it didn't state that there was cottage cheese in it..The Noodles were whole Grain, so they had an awful taste. Almost like they were burned or rubbery.. Sadly I'll not be buying this ever again. Highly DISAPPOINTED...😡 The taste was really bad it gave us both the worst Acid Reflux.. 😩 Live %26 Learn..
