This has mashed potatoes, chicken pieces and gravy. My microwave was broken so I cooked it on stove top. It browned the chicken. I like the combo of potatoes and corn. It smelled and tasted good. It was enough for one person. I thought it was a larger bowl of food, but it was enough for me.
There are only about 5 types of frozen meals I eat and this is one. I am the pickiest person alive… although the chicken was of course a tiny bit mushy, it was overall a really good meal. It would be a top favorite if there were a way to crisp the chicken up a bit, but the texture and flavor were still very good for being microwaved.
Quick question, where would the most salt be found? in the Atlantic Ocean or a Stouffers frozen meal? Discuss. Here's a clue; as I ate this meal, I could actually FEEL my arteries clogging up. This one meal blocked 75% of my blood flow. Felt like the monster in Alien wanted out of my chest. Be sure to be in the absolute best shape of your life because after you eat this bowl/meal things are going to feel differently. Don't say that I didn't warn ya!!!
Comfort food, quick and easy. Chicken stays crispy for a frozen meal, and the mashed potatoes and gravy are actually really good. Perfect for those nights when you want something warm and filling without cooking. Portion is just right and it heats up evenly. Not homemade, but definitely hits the craving.
I just finished this, was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! Potatoes thickened nicely after standing, wish there was a bit more chicken cuz it was VERY tasty! Nicely seasoned, not too much pepper as many fried chicken can be! I will get again! Yum!
I really like these Stouffers boxed meals. They are reasonably priced for a good meal. One meal will definitely fill you up. I like to eat them for lunch. They have a lot of different meals to choose from. They taste fresh and delicious.
The chicken was tasty and so were the mashed potatoes and corn and gravy. Sadly, it's just too small for the price and I was still hungry afterwards. Wish they had a bigger size.
I found this dinner to be disappointing. The picture on the box makes you think you will get a nice portion, but the chicken was skimpy and it was mostly mashed potatoes. The taste was fine though
This is a joke, right? Stouffer's cannot possibly be selling this as a meal! Maybe for a toddler. There were TWO chicken nuggets in this box, one of them really small, corn pieces thrown into the gravy, and 1/3 cup at most of mashed potatoes. I added the butter in the potatoes in the photo. Save your money and get nuggets from McDonalds. At least there they are crisp, and you get enough for an actual meal. The nuggets were all white meat and had decent taste, but I could have spent the 35 minutes it took to heat this bite size meal up getting better and much more filling options at any fast food drive through for around the same price, and been home eating before the 35 minutes were up. I am a 5 ‘4” woman, and compare my finger in the photos to the size of the two nuggets included.
I love Stouffer's but definitely not this style! The texture of the combination %26 the worst salty gravy ever! the mashed potatoes were the best thing out of it %26 I don't like instant potatoes! I only tried it because it had a big coupon to go with it. I now know why it was discounted. I truly don't believe this will stay around. it's just an off product for Stouffer's!
