This meatloaf is so moist and delicious and filling! I was very hesitant about buying this, but I’m sure glad that I did! This is my son’s favourite meatloaf and we buy it just about every week for dinner. Only wish that I have is that they would make it in a bigger size for us!😊 Very happy with this product!
I have never purchased meatloaf, I always make my own. This meatloaf was not like your traditional recipe and the sauce was more of a gravy rather than red sauce. I always use ketchup with my meatloaf, not this one. It kind of reminded me of their salisbury steak, which I am a fan of. I do like this very much and will be ordering again!
Good for nights you don't feel like cooking. I used microwave mashed potatoes as an accompaniment. And green beans easy meal. The meat was thick with some savory gravy. Meat was juicy and tender. To me it was just a little salty. But since I didn't make it I'm not complaining and my kids loved it.
I have gone through the freezer and found it. I needed to eat and I went through the direction of the use of the microwave. That process helped me with getting everything done. I was able to get the veggies and mash potatoes ready to add to my meal. It didn't need seasoning or topping to add more flavor.
6 little meatloaves in a single pan. When I purchase this item I have enough meatloaf for a week's worth of lunches (or suppers). I usually fix a cup of Idahoan buttery homestyle instant mashed potatoes and a veggie to go along with it. BUT--sometimes I just make a meatloaf sandwich and potato chips for an even quicker lunch. These really are good tasting meatloaves. If you prefer-one may be inclined to splotch some catsup (ketchup if you prefer) or maybe even some Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce on them. I believe you will enjoy them however you prefer to fix them.
I've been buying this for a long time. It's just a filler, I really don't love this. But it's easy and quick. I definitely would not say that it tastes great. And I've wondered time and time again whether or not this is really stake. But it works. Good for working parents.
Stouffer’s meatloaf. You get about six of these oval chunky hunks of meat drowned in gravy that’s more close to a thick version of a banquet Salisbury steak meal than meat loaf. Bland taste and meat had very little if any onions or meat loaf texture and substance. Stouffer makes good lasagna or Mac and cheese etc but back to the kitchen on the meat loaf. Best to just make homemade with onions and tomato sauce. Your stomach and taste buds will thank you later.
Absolutely horrible stench of burning plastic the entire 65 min cook time. Followed directions to leave plastic on top while cooking in oven. Had to open every door and window and turn fans on at 11pm because the smell was so toxic. all that for 6 tiny slices of cheap cafeteria meat. each slice is smaller than a dollar bill and the entire tray is filled with a brown soup that is supposed to be gravy. Sickening, it has not once smelled like food, only noxious, burning plastic. Requested refund
When you advertise this as FAMILY sized, what kinda family are you talking about. Chihuahuas??!?! Literally six SLICES of poorly flavored, meat. 33 oz of mostly GRAVY. If someone else had cooked this and served it to me I would’ve literally thought they accidentally gave me their cat’s food. I was in need of an easy high protein meal for my family with 3 growing boys and me and my husband. After cooking this for over an hour, I now have to make a-WHOLE-nother meal!! I am TICKED that this is so tiny. AND to add insult to injury, it has no flavor and what you CAN taste does NOT taste good. I feel so swindled and I am not going to be trusting any more frozen Stouffer’s meals.
While baking, I could smell the plastic in the oven as it states to not remove or vent. The package is for 6 servings, however each piece of meat is the size of a business card and they float in the gravy which was a little runny. There are only 3 people in our household and this wouldn't feed everyone as it's mostly gravy. The meat tasted ok, but it was just weird overall.
