It is an incredibly versatile staple to keep stocked in the freezer. It tastes delicious completely on its own, but it is also foolproof if you want to mix things up. Tossing in some diced ham makes it an instant, meaty favorite, and it even works surprisingly well as a rich side dish when you are cooking up grilled chicken or steak for fajitas. While you always want to keep an eye on your overall daily sodium intake, the comfort and convenience this boxed meal provides on a busy schedule makes it totally worth it. The creamy sauce is too bland. The shell seem to cook easily. I would find a flavorful cheese to add to the cheese sauce if you choose to purchase this side dish.

I kind of liked these but they are incredibly high in sodium. 1 serving has over 1100 grams of sodium 47% of your daily recommendation! Strangely enough they didn't taste salty, maybe because I didn't salt the pasta water. The shells are really really thin and I didn't notice it when I dropped them in the water and I cooked them the normal time I cook pasta and they came out super soft and mushy which is my fault I should have paid more attention. If you buy these watch the cooking time they cook up quickly. The cheese sauce has a nice flavor, it's very cheese but it's like super thick and I didn't even drain my pasta very well hoping that would loosen up the cheese sauce but it didn't. I'd suggest having some milk or water ready to loosen it up because it was super thick. I also added chunks of ham along with onions and peppers which made it taste pretty dang good. I would buy it again if the salt content wasn't so heavy. Good Grief Stouffers cut back on the salt! YIKES! If you don't have any health issues and salt consumption isn't a problem for you then you will probably like this. I think 1 package is good for 3 or 4 people as a side dish. If you add some chicken or ham or other meat and maybe some veggies you can get 2 filling meals out of this so it's a good price for what you get.

I tried two kinds of this mac and cheese. The regular yellow cheese was good, but not as good as other brands. This one with the three-cheese blend has a very odd taste. You would think it has something smoked in it. Did not like this at all. Very disappointed.

This Mac and cheese was disappointing. It seemed to have a taste of old bacon running through it and there was too much of a gluey mouthfeel sauce. You can buy another brand and pay less than half the price of this item and get a much better product. Truly a bad buy.. I thought Stouffer’s would get it right but not even close. Stay away.

My whole family loves macaroni and cheese, so when I saw that Stouffers has a stove top mac %26 cheese, I bought a box to try it. Unfortunately, none of us liked it at all. It has a smoky flavor which is overpowering, and it really tastes terrible. I won't buy this again.

I buy several different Stouffer’s frozen dinners regularly, due to good quality and taste. I was very disappointed in this macaroni and cheese. For me, the salty taste was so overwhelming you couldn’t taste any other flavor. Entirely my fault, I forgot to check sodium content before purchase. So beware if sodium is an issue in your diet. Do not recommend, in fact I was surprised to see so many 4/5 star ratings.

AWFUL !! First, not ready "made" as frozen portion - you have to BOIL THE MACARONI !!! Really, Stouffers ? ! ? Even after that, the white cheese was simply terrible. Put it this way - the animals tasted it and spit out the mouth cups . kinda final , huh Trash

my son and I love mac and cheese but this was absolutely disgusting 🤢. The cheese had a very smokey taste that was very overwhelming. I hate to waste food but this had to go!!
