I've had these for over 10 yrs. (though, purchased elsewhere back then) and recommended these carts to many. At first, I didn't know if Walmart actually had these. I decided to look online to see if they carried these fold away stow & go type carts. **Reason: I've had difficult time trying to find these elsewhere, when I did find these (and other brands of these type carts as well) the prices for them were insanely ridiculous (over priced--it's only plastic & metal--not precious metals either!).** I purchased these as a gift for someone....Ok, I admit, it's not what most would think of or, consider to buy for another as a gift (person had difficulty carrying several--4 to 9 bags & other items of groceries, from car pkg. lot into her apt. bldg and, apt. itself 11 fl. up --yes, they used the elevator to get to 11th fl.). The person, even to date (whenever we speak over phone) keeps telling me: "You don't know how much this cart is such a life safer and, big help to me; I've used it several times already; Saves me from having to make 3 trips to car to carry groceries etc; into apt. I only make 1 trip and done -- using this cart. I'd be lost without it and it's so easy & compact. Folds up small & fits into car trunk, floor of front or back seat, takes up little space in car and, when put away in closet. It holds a lot and handles weighted items (cases of water etc.) easily without problems." Well, there you have it...the recipient's own "review" of the Stow & go cart. For myself, I've used these before & still do, they're great & extremely handy for carting groceries etc; . You may not think they're durable--they don't appear to be by looks of it-- but, they actually are QUITE sturdy & durable. They're great to have on hand, compact & light weight, easy to store when not in use taking little space (in a closet or car).
I owned a smaller version from another company previously; it broke down and can no longer be used. This helps me transfer crafts and project material from home to the hospital where I work as a Recreation Therapist. Holds bulky items, handles weight OK, and has handles on the side when you need to lift into a trunk or station wagon.
I love this rolling cart as it sturdy and holds my books, groceries, et. al. When I take my elderly aunt to the grocery store it is great for transporting her groceries including 6 packs of diet Pepsi that she likes. This cart is well made and easily opens for use and closes for storage in the truck of my car. It is a little heavier than another cart I owned but the other cart didn't last a year. The price was the same as this one. Thanks, Walmart!
Use it for my briefcase, purse, workout bag and some groceries all in one carry. I unload it in the back of my SUV because the whole reason why I got it is because I can't carry all these things on my shoulders or arms - too much - I am elderly with Fibromyagia. So, I load the sucker up and unload it then left the Safeco cart empty and put it in my car. When I get to my destination, I then take it out empty and reload everything in it. Awesome. It will even rollover rocks, not just pavement.
I have a cleaning service and I put my supplies in it. It fit in the trunk of my car with supplies in it. I roll it to where I am going and and only pick it up when I have to go up stairs. It strong. I'll tell you this. You can use it for so many things and when not use it , if folds up out the way. It doesn't take up space. I recommend it for elderly people to use for carrying their groceries if they don't have to go up stairs, even for students
This was purchased for my daughter who is a High School Teacher. She loves the fact that she doesn't have to make 2 or 3 trips to her car to bring in her work for classes. She has a total of 200 students and assignments are in binders so this makes for lots of heavy "stuff" to carry home for grading. She loves it!
Appears like one I had purchased previously which has almost worn out. Hope this will be as good. It is larger than the previous one.
only used it twice and I noticed it is already cracking.
This is the third cart that I have purchased. The first two broke on the handle and the bottom layer, but it is the only cart that I have found that is convenient to operate and has a nice size to help me move around items to save me steps. So I continue to re-purchase this product each time it breaks.
I'm very disappointed with this purchase. I was able to use it 3 times before the front left bottom side seam split. It looked heavy duty and durable but didn't preform at all. I will be returning this for a refund.
