Straight Talk Moxee 5G Mobile Hotspot, 512MB, Black

This hotspot works great! Even way out in the woods on our camping trips.

Works well. Easy set up. Better than paying for the big Wi-Fi stuff.

Works as should super fast speeds and performed good as should

it only took a few mins to set up and works great even in rural areas!

I love my Moxer 5G. It helps me save money on internet service. I do not have internet in my neighborhood and with Moxee 5G I have it Than You!

love this wifi hotspot very to setup and operate

Got this for my parents lake house for them, and it works great! They get to enjoy their tv %26 streaming on all of their devices.

Recently purchased this item for work use. The size makes it convenient and isn't too bulky.

The issues and dislikes of this unit are more than a few: 1. It gets hot now and then, once got scary hot. (Seems to have calmed down for the most part over the next 5 days, but got warm today). 2. It doesn't hold a charge for very long maybe 4.5 hrs. once lasted a little more than 6 hrs. If on but not in use the battery lasts a much longer time LOL. 3. Display shows 3 to 4 bars but signal is weak and loses connection and most of the time will not tether connect on first or second try, even if you just turned the unit on after a complete 100% charge, it takes a REBOOT or even a hard boot (shut off and turn back on) to get it to stop saying "Wifi Off"* and/or shows up on your wifi network list on your phone or laptop. *No matter how many times you press the Wifi Off on the display, it will act like it's going to change to "Wifi-On" as it should, it will not until after a REBOOT or Hard boot. 4. Will show 2 or 3 bars but will drop signal or lose connection. 5. Sometimes will not maintain connection even with 4 or 5 bars when plugged in and charging. Unplug it and Voila! You have great connection/signal but it will be at whatever battery level and it goes fast for the last 33% and lower the faster it runs out. It does work better than the plain old Moxee that's for sure but still leaves lot's to be desired. It works great but only when the signal level is at or near full number of bars. No Data Usage display like on my T-Mobile hotspot device that shows both a bar and how many GBs used out of how many GBs limit. (sideways thermometer and "23.8 gbs out of 40gbs") There's probably one or two other things I could 'complain' about but quite frankly, I'm frustrated and tired of the deficiencies of this $199 unit. My advice is to those customers in questionable 5G reception areas, just get the base Moxee or go with another device or a different provider. (Mine are T-Mobile, Tello %26 Straighttalk.) Today is the last day of the 14 day return policy, but if I send it back I have to wait another week or so for it's replacement to arrive. I realize I should have ordered it's replacement a week after buying it but hoped it would improve and got busy. I may try to return it tomorrow and reorder another and hope for the best while using my T-Mobile (which works so much better but data costs twice as much) why can't things just run smoothly?

It wasnt that it died the first month it's the second one that had died on me weeks after my purchase. my insurance said go through Moxee and moxee said that Straight Talk will handle it.. The first one was lime pulling teeth November to May still havent recieved it.. pass the buck to give me the..
