Solidly built..........
Besides having the better durability of 409 stainless steel, the exhaust note is smooth and low. No rattling like a number of glass pack options out there when you lean into the throttle or back off at the upper RPM range. Smooth throughout the run! And there's never any resonance coming up through the floorboards. The best mounting location I've found is to set the muffler about midpoint from the Y pipe and the end of the tailpipe. In my case with a '88 Chevy C1500 2WD, I started with a 48" long 3" extension from the Y pipe dump, then mounted the muffler, and finished from there to the back bumper with an 18" long stainless steel (3" mount flared to 4") Gibson turndown tip. Smooth and low tone thanks to the smooth perforated 3" bore in the muffler. Reminiscient of the old Walker Continental glass packs with the same design.

Great muffler
I bought this product a month ago for a heads and cam ls1 dumped at the y pipe . It's a great sounding muffler no drone at all. Great loud tone that lets the bald eagles fly .

Great muffler to swap a factory muffler.
This muffler is a perfect swap from a factory muffler to a performance muffler. Very little drone at 1500 rpm on the highway in my 5.3 2021 Chevrolet, nice deep tone that is not obnoxious.
