I'm used to carrying around the S2S tinted sunscreen so I was skeptical that this stick would be comparable. Oh, I was so wrong. This stuff is the BEST! It's much easier to carry around and it absorbs greatly into my skin like other S2S products. I'm a light-skinned black person and blended in very well. Although I'm more likely to be outside or hiking in the mountains than I am in the sea, I still use this because it doesn't contain harsh chemicals.
Thoughts after using this stick for 5 consecutive days while traveling in Belize: - Compact packaging, fits easily in any bag. -Reef- friendly. Applied liberally to my entire body when out on the boat snorkeling. - Doubles as a foundation base for makeup! Applied to face after washing and moisturizing in the morning. The tint was perfect for a light makeup look. Bronzer was applied easily on top, without blotching. Worked very well. - I found the product to spread relatively with ease once it was warmed with the friction from my hand. - I did not burn the entire time while I used this product. All around throughly impressed with this little eco-stick, another great product from stream2sea.
The EcoStick wild blue is perfect for your face, neck, and shoulders while you're out and about on the boat. The small size means it fits perfectly in the glove box, dry bag, or cooler so it’s only steps away from providing you with maximum strength UV protection. I keep one in the car, one in the boat, and one in the cooler to make sure I've always got the coverage I need.
Easy to apply, especially on squirmy children! I love the ingredients in it, they're safe for sensitive skin. My 12-year-old child prefers this over the Stream2Sea Sunscreen cream in a tube because it is easier to apply a thin even layer all over the body and face and blend in. It is also not as whitening as I thought and I just feel proud to be wearing a truly reef safe sunscreen.
After utilizing this stick for five straight days in Belize, some reflections. - Small packing that fits into any bag with ease. -Reef- tolerant. applied liberally to my entire body while snorkeling off the boat. The tint provided excellent sun protection and allowed for a natural makeup look. On top, bronzer was smoothly applied without blotting. worked great. - Once the substance had warmed up due to friction from my hand, I discovered that it spread quite easily. - I found it impressive that I didn't burn the entire time I utilized this product. It operates! Woohoo!
My favorite daily sunscreen is now in the portability of a stick! Whether scuba diving, cycling or teaching, this tinted sunscreen has been the foundation of my skincare routine. Now with the portability of a stick, I can toss it in my bag and take along.
Great! sunscreen to stick in your pocket when you're out and about. Unfortunately it goes on a little chunky so you have to put it in your fingers, rub your fingers together to soften it before application.
Wanted to love this, but the sunscreen is somehow greasy and sticky at the same time. The tint showed up orangey-brown on my skin, but when rubbed in, there was no tint or coverage at all. If there is a cream version of this, I would try that instead.
Lumpy texture--hard to smooth onto skin, unflattering tint, and smells like Mary Jane's peanut butter candies.
I wanted to love it, I really did. I love the regular liquid tinted sunscreen and thought I would love this one too. The whole point of getting a stick sunscreen is to hand free...well you can't be! It does not blend in well and I have to use my hands. Compared to the liquid sunscreen it feels very very sticky and tacky. After working outside you look like a grease ball and dirt just sticks to it. But- there is no cast with this sunscreen if you are okay with it being super sticky and greasy. I have had better luck with the liquid sunscreen. Still love the brand, this particular product is just not for me.
