My daughter struggled to improve with a traditional bike and training wheels.We got her this for her birthday and she's already balancing on the two wheels and LOVES going for rides now.
It was a little pricey but what isn't these days.
I would highly recommend the 12” strider before the 14”, my granddaughter rode the 12”for a couple years and learned really good balance with no pedals. When she got on the 14” with pedals her first try she was a pro and is still riding the bike with pedals no problem. Totally bypassed training wheels .Great purchase, the pedal kit is a separate purchase

Great deal
One of the proudest moments of my motherhood was when my 3 year old started riding a bike without training wheels. We gave ger the strider when she turned 2. 14 Months later, she's riding better than me on two wheels. unfortunately, the bike was run over, and so I'm here to purchase for child number two.
The bike packing did not contain the hex head tool needed for assembly. The one used to attach the handlebar to the frame is missing.
This was a fraudulent transaction where the thief gained access to my Walmart account to purchase these items and have it delivered to an address in another province. Lesson learned - never keep your credit card on file with Walmart or any other online vendor.
