Strike King KVD Square 1.0 Gizzard Shad

The size and color are a perfect match for the small shad that the bass are eating right now. Another excellent Strike King product.

Down south we fish a lot of cypress trunks during a fall after high water. This square bill when cranked at the rite speed is hard to hang up. This color seems to match the crawfish at this season. Hook up ratio is good and I have faith in the hooks. Just ordered four more of the same color.

These are great baits and the Citrus Shad versionis a great one! Able to mimic shad, perch, pale bluegill, herring, Cisco etc. .Dives easily to 5ft and really triggers bites when crackn against wood, rocks, dock posts and any other hard cover. If you have the other colors or this is your first one, stop thinkn and buy it. 👊

My favorite crankbait. The Strike King KVD crankbait is the standard for all crankbaits. Bigger than the 1.5, when targeting bigger bass or the bass are feeding on bigger forage.

I have used these crankbaits for years and wouldn't choose another squarebill over this one! Strike King is a well-known and respected company, and this lure alone proves why. Glad I can find them at a discounted price through here.

KVD makes the best squarebills ever. I caught 2 fish in a 1hr period. I just recently lost my old one fishing the shad spawn when I caught 100+ fish in 2 hours. Very few lost fish due to the huge treble hooks.

Best squarebill crankbait I have ever used. I never have any problems with the hooks and they keep the fish pinned. I caught over 50 fish (including a 5 pounder) and lost the bait but the hooks never bent.

I bought this for bass fishing but ended up catching about 50 12+" white bass in an hour. I also caught a 5 lb flathead. Very good action and big hooks which results in very few lost fish. I've never had an issue with the hooks bending.

Very realistic bluegill pattern. kvd squarebills are the best. I usually use the 1.5 but when I need to get bigger fish i use the 2.5. No problems with the hooks.

I used these all the time for new ponds and lakes to cover water and learn the area a bit. The hold up well for the price. Now that Karls has a line of cranks im switching slowly but these were a good choice when starting out.
