good vibration action for warmer water. black and chartreuse is a good color for stained water. hooks good but dull quickly in rock or gravel areas. good solid bill.

Great lure for smallies
We fish the Shenandoah river and this lure produces strikes even when the conditions are not ideal. Would Love it even more if it had weedless treble hooks, as we lose a few to snags.

A Great addition To The Family
These are great baits and the Citrus Shad versionis a great one! Able to mimic shad, perch, pale bluegill, herring, Cisco etc. .Dives easily to 5ft and really triggers bites when crackn against wood, rocks, dock posts and any other hard cover. If you have the other colors or this is your first one, stop thinkn and buy it. 👊

Love my MVD rank baits
Down south we fish a lot of cypress trunks during a fall after high water. This square bill when cranked at the rite speed is hard to hang up. This color seems to match the crawfish at this season. Hook up ratio is good and I have faith in the hooks. Just ordered four more of the same color.

The best!!!!
KVD makes the best squarebills ever. I caught 2 fish in a 1hr period. I just recently lost my old one fishing the shad spawn when I caught 100+ fish in 2 hours. Very few lost fish due to the huge treble hooks.

Not very durable.
These crankbaits are supposed to be really good but for some reason, they are falling apart on me. I have had 3 broken bills on these crankbaits this spring and I don't really even fish over rocks. I just don't understand why they are so brittle. Crankbaits are supposed to be bounced off rocks and sticks but these are breaking even without that much contact with anything. They are too expensive to keep buying them if they are just going to fall apart. I am a little sad at what Strike King is doing with what used to be a pretty good bait.
