makes swapping hooks a lot safer and easier. once you get a rhythm down you can cruise thru many lures. I swap out my trebles to single hooks on swimbaits because the lures will have more action. Without this it was difficult to hold the split rings.

Despite the split ring is being difficult to work with. This is a must if you want to change out all of your trouble hooks and avoid all the frustration that comes with using them. It takes a little bit of time, but it's well worth it. Seems like something that'll last me a long time I don't Agrant this purchase at all. Do yourself a favor and get one of these.

Well butter my biscuit, these KVD split ring pliers are handier than a pocket on a shirt! I used to wrestle them tiny split rings with my fingernails like a raccoon tryin' to open a soda can. Now I just squeeze these bad boys and click, job done faster than grandma at a yard sale. Only downside is they pinch so precise I'm scared to let my cousin borrow ‘em—last time he “borrowed” tools, I ain't seen ‘em since 2019. Five stars, even if they make me feel like a surgeon on bass tackle. 🎣

KVD split ring pliers/ braid cutter. Cuts braid and Opens split rings as advertised. Strong enough to crimp split shot weights and act as pliers. Grip is good even in wet hands. Should have a hole in the handle to accommodate a lanyard or come with a holster. If you squeeze them closed hard on something and slip off, the two jaws crossover each other and must be pulled apart. Not a big deal as they still cut braided line. Mine still do. I'll buy another set. Hopefully these will last a while. So far, so good.
