StriVectin SD Advanced™ Plus Intensive Moisturizer, 2.0 oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this moisturizer in my AM and PM routine on my face. I have acne prone, rosacea skin, and I'm mid 30s so trying my best for well aging. This moisturizer is thick and has a slight chemical scent but it dissipates after applied to skin. It absorbs well and applies evenly to skin. I noticed this plumped up my skin and made any wrinkles I had a little less noticeable. I do like this moisturizer as it has peptides and really does make my skin look so smooth. It may seem pricey at first but one bottle lasts me at least 2 months (a little goes a long way). Definitely a great buy and a wonderful product I will continue using.

I discover StriVectin in a magazine article I read in the waiting room at the hospital. the article said StriVectin was the secret weapon the stars used to keep their youthful appearance. That was over 20 years ago and it did everything it said it would. I am currently 80 years old and can pass for someone younger than I am. It has been a blessing.

I like that it can be used in both wrinkles and stretch marks. I’ve tried it on my face so far and a little goes a long way! My face felt soft and moisturized. Even a small amount spreads well and makes my neck feel much firmer and smoother. It has a slight natural scent, but I don't mind it. I'm so happy with the visible results. It is quite dense but spreads well on the skin and is quickly absorbed without leaving a sticky feeling. Regarding the effect, small wrinkles became less noticeable, especially in the area around the eyes and on the forehead. I also noticed that the skin tone had evened out. It looks more firm. It is effective for stretch marks, it is instant, but the skin has become elastic. Overall, I am satisfied and will probably buy again. I recommend it to those who are looking for a good anti-aging cream with a moisturizing effect.

The moisture lasts all day and the skin stays and feels smooth, soft and supple. There is a smell to is that doesn't smell good to me, but if you don't care about the scent then you will love it. This moisturizer is not only for the face but for other areas of the body and especially areas where there are stretch marks as it helps them look less noticeable.

A little goes a long way and my face feels great all day/night. I’ve only been using it for a couple weeks, so I can’t say if it’s actually helping my 11 wrinkle appearance decrease any, but the other benefits are good enough for me!

But honestly, it’s too heavy. I can only use it a couple of times a week and only at night. It does hydrate really well, but for my combination skin it’s too much. On the bright side it didn’t clog my pores or cause any irritation or breakouts. I think it would work much better for someone with dry and damaged skin.

" Unfortunately, after consistent use, this was a total letdown and a complete waste of money. The main issues: No Effect on Wrinkles: Despite the marketing promising visible results in a week, my fine lines and deeper wrinkles haven't changed at all. It feels like a standard, overpriced lotion rather than an "intensive concentrate. " Zero Smoothing: It didn’t even improve my skin texture. My face doesn't feel smoother or more refined; if anything, the thick consistency just sits on top of the skin without truly absorbing. Overpriced: For the high price tag, you expect more than just basic hydration. You can get the same moisturizing effect from a drugstore brand for a fraction of the cost.
