It's not super heavy but keeps the wind out. It's definitely going to be worn a lot this winter to keep my head and ears warm.

I haven't worn a knit cap since 4th grade! By 5th grade I had became more aware of my appearance, so knit caps were out — due to crazy ‘electrostatic hair' when cap was removed. Plus they itched, they never stayed put, and they needed constant adjustment — so annoying. But with Fall approaching, on a whim, I decided to order one. Give it another try. This cap didn't look as long as most, and it looked so soft and cozy. That being said, I was amazed at just how soft it was; especially since it was SO lightweight — I could hardly tell I had it on! So I wore it around the house while I tidied up. When I was finished, the first thought that came to mind: my head's not hot, no sweating … and my head wasn't itchy !! Then, when I took it off … NO ‘electrostatic hair' sticking out in every direction! I have long curly hair which frizzes at everything — but not this cap. I was so impressed. I am almost 5'4” with long curly hair and had no trouble tucking all of my hair under the cap. I was able to wear the cap just above my eyes (if very cold out) or further back behind my bangs and it stayed-put every time. Note: IF you have a fairly large noggin AND long thick hair this may not be the cap for you (see photos) as the cap itself is not that large. Considering this cap has remedied everything I hated about knit caps back in the 4th grade (hot, itchy, too tall, constantly adjusting, crazy ‘electrostatic' hair) and it's SO plush and lightweight, this rates a solid 5/5 stars. Highly recommend.

Although it's not winter yet, I wanted to be prepared. You won't regret buying this hat. It fits perfectly and it's so comfortable!!! I will love this for forever! Even when my sister keeps it extra cold in the house, I'm using it to walk around her house.

I find that the Stromguard Men Women Knit Skully Beanie Hat Ski Cap Cuff Slouchy Plain Solid Warm Winter - Black cap is very light and comfortable, has a silky feel to it too. Very nice. I can see myself keeping this item at the ready as the seasons will be changing soon. Folds up and fits in a very small space good to keep handy in the glove box of the car, or even in my handbag.

This is a ski cap that is designed for both men and women. It can be worn with a cup or without the skull caps are 12 inches long without a cup and you can have up to a 3 inch cup. It is made of elastic acrylic material and I think that is the best for this type of thing. When the net is made out of acrylic is much easier to wash and dry. The ski cap comes in quite a few different colors I chose black. I prefer to wear my cap with a cup but in this particular ski camp I didn't like how it felt it was more comfortable to wear without the cup. This makes it a little looser on top but it makes it more comfortable for me. I haven't really had a chance to wear it yet in cold weather but I'm sure it'll be fine. I like acrylic knit caps when I'm working outside in cold weather they allow me to breathe so that I don't get quite as overheated as I do with a wool cap. It does cover my ears nicely that's important for me. It didn't have washing instructions on the cap but normally with these types of caps made out of acrylic you can just toss them in the washer and dryer which I did on cold and low. Didn't seem to make any difference at all. I tend to think I have a larger head and it felt fine to me. I think just about anyone would like this cap man or woman.

This is a very comfortable, plain Beanie. It fits my small head perfectly, and my husband's, who has a large head. I think this would fit almost anyone's head. If it's too long, just fold it over to the length you want. I have washed it twice and it still looks brand new, and it holds it's shape well. This doesn't itch and it keeps my ears nice and warm. The last beanie I bought itched my scalp and forehead, but this one is so comfortable. Nothing bad to say about this beanie, would highly recommend!

Great basic black beanie. Winter will be here before we know it. One always needs a basic black beanie! In Oklahoma late summer temps occasionally drop into 40s following t-storms. It's better to be prepared fir the temp changes.

However it is super thick and warm. Basic black color is perfect for winter wear. I feel like the length is nice enough to pull down far to cover your head as much as possible for those cold days. Overall this is a great beanie but I wouldn't necessarily call it a slouchy beanie as the top is normally tapered.

I love this slouchy Stromguard Beanie Hat, it's soft and comfortable. I like the look of the beanie, especially on bad hair days, and it doesn't make my head sweat. It's breathable so it doesn't stink when I wear it all day, and it keeps my ears warm. The cuff of the beanie gives it a hip look when I have my hair down, I like it. like it.
