Strongway Outdoor Wall-Mount Misting Fan — 30in., 7,200 CFM

I installed this misting fan in an outside covered open sided area to be a cooling zone for our pack of bloodhounds. Even in the shade, it can be uncomfortably hot during the Texas summer afternoons. This misting fan has made for a more comfortable environment although it does tend to keep the ground damp. The fan is relatively heavy so will require a strong mounting surface/wall. It does an excellent job of providing an actual cooling zone that fans alone do not provide.

Northern Tool shipped this fan quickly and it arrived a day ahead of expected delivery. The instructions for assembly and installation were clear. I use this to cool our backyard deck area. Medium setting is usually more than enough air and the mist is very effective. I would buy this fan again.

Bough for my livestock barn. This fan is comparable to the expensive show barn fans used by many livestock show folks but it has the added feature of a mister. The only thing I'd change is adding a weld-on type of bracket instead of just the bolt on. We were unable to use this bracket for what we needed so we improvised.

I live in South Carolina where the temperature is in the 90's to low 100's with high humidity. Even in shade under the barn, my horses were sweaty just standing. I heard about this fan from a friend and I am so glad I bought it. It was easy to install and my horses love it! Best investment in their care I ever made! Highly recommend!

Lots of assembly required but when your done it works great . Only down side is it could have been packed more securely in the box.

I purchased two 30 inch misting fans and I'm telling you it makes a big difference, feel much cooler than just a fan. Highly recommend.

Solid fan, but not high quality. The clips that attach the mister to the fan are plastic and will eventually break. It does the job, but if you are looking for an indestructible fan, this is probably not it. Works as advertised. It is pretty loud, so if you have dogs that are scared of noise, they may not go near it.

The fan assembled and installed really well. My only complaint is that it will only oscillate. Most fans have an option to fix the fan if you would prefer direct airflow but this one does not (as far as I can tell).

We bought this for our back porch. The build is sturdy - it is all metal. It's heavy, and it's definitely easier to mount with help. Assembly wasn't bad, though the propeller is hateful to attach, and it's on so firmly it probably doesn't need the screws. It's deafening above low, and even that makes for difficult conversation. It definitely cools! However, ours stopped working on about the 4th day of use. The oscillation stopped, and it made a horrible clicking noise as it tried to slip back into its pattern. Minus a star for the deafening volume, minus another for the fact that it broke in 4 days. If you're mounting this far from your seating area and are willing to gamble on it breaking in the first few days, it will definitely keep you cool! (Though if you're sitting directly in the moisture path and turn off oscillation, you're going to get wet.)
