Stryker Magnetic Mount CB & 10 m Radio Antenna

Get it!…….best upgrade for my pickup truck's CB set up. Picks up distant transmissions, SWR correct right out of the box and easy installation. Replaced the blue led light with an amber led light you can get online elsewhere to avoid the “blue” police like glow that won't get you in possible trouble from mimicking police.

If you're looking for this and you know, they're hard to find. And shipping is just ridiculous, and by the time it gets to you, it's destroyed. Well, I got one from Walmart online and it's perfect.Great job! Wasn't sure what to expect, but i'm gonna buy another one. Very pleased with the purchase. Even more pleased with the shipping came by fedex.

Pretty much was plug in play showing 1.0 SWR on my CB on channels 1, 19 and 40 with no cutting of the antenna whip. Magnet holds on while traveling at interstate speeds. Only thing I dislike is the blue lights when keying up to transmit.

I trimmed about 4" off my whip to get it in the middle of the 1Ometer band. Find a a cable entry point that doesn't compromise the cable...the corners of a hatchback so the metal does not rub on the cable opening or closing. Watch out for cable pinching on a trunk entrance that will change the ohms resistance of the cable.

A very sturdy unit that looks like it will last a lifetime ( mine ). Simple to assemble. The cable is about 18 feet which I thought was too long however by the time I ran it up and down the cab I had 6 inches left, so Stryker got it right. The only fault I find is with the instructions. These are not clear about adjusting the antenna. They say to insert or raise the antenna 1/4. It turns out the 1/4 they are talking about is the distance the antenna goes into the mast. This distance is 2 inches, so 1/4 would be 1/2 inch.

A top quality 10/11 meter antenna

Great antenna great price. However bad seller. 2 boxes required. Shipped base ok great received quickly…. But the stainless whip was ship a week or so later. I called they never returned call did not show tracking numbers. I was about to send it back after 10 days waiting. Finely it shower up
