The focus on delicious savory flavor additions and not covering up flavor of boring meats of all kinds with sweetness makes Stubb's moppin sauce great.
I've been using Stubb's Moppin" Sauce Barbecue Baste for many years now and I always get complimented for my barbecue. No matter brisket, ribs, chicken or sausage, Stubb's products go great on anything you want to grille or barbecue.
We need Stubb's to bring the Moppin' Sauce back! McCormick made a mistake discontinuing this sauce in July 2020 and all the big grocery chains need to put it with other BBQ sauces/products on their shelves. I've been using the Moppin' Sauce for 20 years...it's the best!
I haven't tried this yet but I've used Many of Stubbs products so I already know I will not be disappointed!
Best ever,I use for turkey wings roasted with sweet potatoes, nothing works with this combo like this moppin sauce.
If you love more vinegar, and ALOT less sugar for barbecue, you can't beat this
For the past 2 months, I have been slow smoking meat on my Oklahoma Joe wood smoker and Traeger Pellet Grill. Have slow cooked pork ribs, tri-tips, brisket and 2" thick pork chops. After a few hours of slow smoke, I start putting on the Moppin Sauce on the hour, then flip the meat and do other side. I had ordered 10 bottles when they were $4.00 each. Did not know I would go thru them so fast! Get yourself an inexpensive bbq mop and slop this stuff onto your meat during the last 3/4 cooking time. It will soak into the meat and create a tasty layer on the outside. This is not a marinate where you pour it on the meat and leave in fridge overnight. This is a sauce to baste meat during the final cooking times. Wonderful stuff, ashame it is $8.00 per bottle right now though. Will wait for price change to reorder.
Hard to find this particular mop sauce. I use it in just about any white meat-related grilling or smoking efforts. Mixes extremely well with the rubs I use and builds an incredible glaze when applied late in the cooking session. For those who like a sweeter finish, you might toss on a different BBQ sauce to complement it, but once you get your dry rub down this is a very solid mopping/finishing sauce.
Sauce is great with or without marinate
This stuff is HORRIBLE! It tastes like a combination of apple cider vinegar and sea salt mixed into a hot sauce that burns long after I've tasted it. I had to add half a bottle of honey and a tablespoon of sugar just to make it edible.
