So far it seems to be exactly what I wanted, correct size, the lights are a good addition and easy to move around as its being used as a portable display.
The case is well made, and a fantastic price. Ordering online and store pick-up was great. Will continue to keep Michael's in my buying circle.
Just what we needed! These are idea for displaying small figures and collectibles. We are using them for 3" Kidrobot vinyl figures and they fit so nicely inside. They stand out against the black backdrop and the light is also a really nice feature, although we probably won't use it that much. There are a few small imperfections because it's MDF and it's nearly impossible to keep that pristine. But once mounted and touched up with Sharpie, nothing is noticeable. They were shipped wrapped in bubble wrap which probably helped them arrive in such good condition.
For years I've had a lot of my collectibles stored away out of sight. I could have had them out on shelves, but I didn't like to dust them and possibly drop and break them. Since I bought not one but two LED display cases, I can enjoy them with a light on them! Everytime I look at them, I smile! I love these cases! Joy, Joy, Joy!!
The door is nice and sleek against rest of box making it blend in. The construction is actually pretty good, nice and sold with a Light Switch on the side. Door opens easy and by magnet. The LED light is GREAT quality and bright enough to use as a flashlight haha so whatever you want to display you will see it clear as day
I have bought this display box several times for legos and Funko Pops. In past ones, the light strip would sometimes flicker. The most recent one is better. The truth is, I mostly want it for the box display (less dusting for me). The lights are just a bonus
I ordered six of the 28" Front Loading LED Display Cases because my local Michaels store didn't have enough in stock. Only four arrived, and three of them were packed together in one oversized box with very little protection. As a result, all three were damaged and unusable. One had cracked plexiglass, another had broken wood, and another had paint rubbed off. For a product that costs nearly $100 in stores, the quality and packaging were extremely disappointing. These cases look nice online, but the materials and shipping protection do not match the price point. I expected much better quality control and packaging from Michaels.
I feel that some of the wrapping could be a lot better. This time it is good, but last time, out of 24, 8 were damaged. And we have to somehow return to a store to exchange them.
I ordered three of these and all of them arrived damaged with broken glass. They were just shipped in a box without any packing materials. As this was my first order with michael's, I'd have to say that this was very disappointing.
Purchased this with a significant discount and still sure I paid too much. I picked the best of three cases in the store, which meant mine only came with slight chips in the wood. The other options included a misaligned front door and a broken light strip. The staff is always amazing and even apologized. I was able to cover the chips with some black marker and hung it up using my own screws. Nothing is included. Opened the front door and started to put things inside. Went back to add more and the door suddenly creaked like it was in a 90's Halloween movie. Opened and closed a couple times to see if it was the hinge and noticed the door suddenly seemed misaligned. Both screws in the body on the opposite side had started coming out. Immediately removed everything and took it off the wall. Of the four screws holding the hinges to the body of the display, only one was secure. The regular price on this item is a cool Ben Franklin, but honesty is the best policy and this product was overpriced at 60% off. If not for the price and the fact that I already hung it up, I probably would be writing this review about a return. However, $2 worth of additional screws made it an overpriced item instead of a complete waste.
