My bearded significant other was hesitant to try this cordless beard and hair straightener. He said he did not need a grooming tool. It just took one use of the Stylecraft Heat Stroke for him to change his tune. I can’t believe how well-designed and powerful this compact hot brush is! After it’s charged (via the included universal charger) it heats up fast and straightens hair with just a few quick strokes. Even better, the Heat Stroke also acts as a power bank, which can be used to charge almost every electronic device— my aging cell phone says thank you! The Heat Stroke even comes with a luxurious travel pouch. For a men’s grooming tool, I would call the Heat Stroke perfectly designed. Don’t tell my partner, but I might be using this too for on-the-go hair straightening! It’s compact, powerful and super-efficient for grooming facial hair and hairstyles.

I was hesitant at first, but I am super happy I made the purchase. The longer bristles don't get hot, so it literally cannot burn you. My husband is black and I feel like that is important to note because that obviously describes that it works on his beard texture. The tool heats up quickly and I like how there are different heat settings.

It works better than I expected. ot has tamed my out of control beard. i would definitely recommend.

The StyleCraft styling hot brush was a challenge to turn on. It took numerous attempts to get the blue indicator light to come on. Once on, however, it was easy to choose the desired temperature. The brush was also easy to use when styling. You have to be careful, however, where you touch this appliance. It becomes very hot where the brushes are, even on the lowest heat setting. It has 4 heat settings, which is nice. It also has an auto off safety feature, which I really liked. The power cord is very long (8 ft.), which certainly makes it convenient to use, and it has a hanging loop for easy storage. It does straighten the hair, so its purpose was accomplished.

I selected this item because l have a hurt shoulder and a non functioning bathroom outlet and needed a cordless solution to remove any curls or waves in my hair. This charged quickly, although when charged without the plug, directly into a USB port in my plug strip both the plug strip and USB plug got very warm so l stopped. No issue when charging with plug attached. Instructions so tiny l had to take a picture and enlarge it on my phone to read them at all. This device did a decent job of straightening my hair about 70%. For only pulling it through and working with one hand it did well. Charge lasted for 3 styling sessions on my big head, with multiple passes.I struggled to set the temperature lock without turning the unit off, but l didn't have issues with hitting buttons while l used it. Comfortable to grip, no burns, no hair damage. Nice box and velvet travel storage bag.

The comb does a pretty good job, however, the cord is cumbersome.
