I bought these shams as well as the bedspread and I couldn't be happier. After reading all the reviews I was a little skeptical but I was pleasantly suprised with the quality. It really is a beautiful set. Yes, they shed a lot in the dryer but they are not shedding on my bed. Really nice for the price.

This bedspread is of a medium weight covering you, its not heavy but it will keep you warm during cool spring nights, its hangs perfectly on my bed so i have ample covering on either side of the bed and the end of the bed as well. The chenille reminds me of my grandmothers bedspread from my childhood, I love it. Be prepared to take it to a laundry to wash it will need a large washer for the kingsize bedspread.

For the price this is a great value. Yes it does have shedding in the dryer - all chenille does. I had my previous bedspread for 12 years that cost twice as much as this one and every time I washed it until it died it shed - a lot. I bought the full bedspread and it is long on both sides and fits nice in the length. It is a beautiful pattern. Not too thick but not cheaply made. A great purchase.

Make sure you wash and dry according to washing instructions included. This gets out the excess lint. Spread comes out of dryer fluffy and looking great. This spread looks old fashioned and is a perfect lightweight summer bed spread. It looks and feels more expensive than other more costly chenille I have owned in the past

I washed it before using--had lint in dryer filter like most of the other reviewers said, but not too much. My only complaint is it needs to be a little longer to cover the pillows. They have shams to match but the main reason I got it was to get rid of all those useless extra pillows on the bed. My mattress is not a thick one and the spread just reached the floor. If you have one of those thick mattresses it might be too short. I'm satisfied with everything else about the spread.

Very nice quality bedspread for the money. Washed this as soon as we received it and it came out nice but had to empty the lent several times so be sure you check your lent catcher. As you may know, lent is very flammable and should be removed on a regularly. Retired Firefighter, go figure!

I am pleased with this spread. It does drop lint- a lot. Reduced this problem to a minimum by washing, drying, followed by light vacuuming. A few washes should solve this. I ordered Full size which fits my bed, but drags a bit on the floor; for deeper mattresses it should be fine. Also shrinkage will ultimately eliminate dragging. Good quality at good price.

Crisp and pristine in appearance, but not as thick as you might expect it to be. Be sure to wash it once or twice before actually putting it on your bed due to excessive shedding. My dogs have already proclaimed it their favorite sleeping-on-top-of blanket.

I use this as a comforter and I love it! The reason for 4 stars was because it wasn't as soft and thick as it appeared in the picture. So you definitely want to have a blanket underneath. But I bought the better homes and gardens fleece blanket and its the perfect amount of warmth. Love that I can wash and dry this. It is very long and almost drags on the floor, but I like it that way. I can throw it in the dryer withou worrying about it shrinking too much. It does let off some lint on the bed sheets, and will totally fill up the dryer lint filter, so I would empty it half way through! Overall though, love this. Was a little over my budget, but still worth it.

I have been looking for a beadspread like this one for a long time I did not realize how difficult it would be this one fit my needs perfectly especially for the price.
