Wow! Buy this! Highly Recommend! Wow! I am in shock! I will be doing a formal video review on YouTube and social media later today reviewing this product and its matching conditioner. I am extremely surprised by how amazing this product worked on my hair. I have been a loyal Pureology shampoo and conditioner user specifically their strength cure and hydrate line. I have 22 inch K tip extensions and have to use the sulfate free shampoo. I was looking for a more affordable shampoo and conditioner since the one I currently use is $37 a bottle each I came across the Suave Hydra Gloss shampoo and conditioner when I was doing a search on the Walmart app for a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner that would be more affordable. I paid $4.54 per bottle. And figured it was worth a try. Honestly, I didn’t expect it to work. The Suave brand was a brand I used for my kids when they were little, but it hasn’t been a go to brand for quality. I thought if it worked great if not, I would look at other options. I used it for the first time today and I am in shock. The consistency of the shampoo and conditioner was very close to what I expect from the high-end brands and it left my hair soft in the shower and not tangled. The true test was gonna be when I dried it to find out if it was going to leave my extensions tangled or frizzy. A lot of shampoos will leave my extensions fizzy and dry brittle. Or they will leave them feeling, weighted down and heavy because of the product when I dried my hair, the Hydro gloss shampoo and conditioner had left my hair, soft, silky, and feeling amazing with a glossy shine. I am beyond impressed and the shampoo and conditioner has worked better than the high-end conditioners and shampoos that I spend over $40 a bottle on after taxes. I am beyond amazed that a shampoo and conditioner that is less than five dollars a bottle could leave my hair feeling so soft and shiny and silky. I added hair oil afterwards, which just added to the softness, but it wasn’t really needed, but because I have extensions I like to add a little oil to my extensions. I want to say great job to Suave for making Hydro gloss and making such a quality product that is an affordable. I can’t wait to try the other product in this line and review it as well. If you haven’t tried the shampoo and conditioner, you need to it is well worth it, and I am beyond amazed. I wasn’t paid for this review or compensated in anyway. I enjoy reviewing products and providing my honest review, I purchased this myself yesterday at Walmart and did not expect the results and I am so please. Please do not discontinue this line. This my new shampoo and conditioner, and I am going to recommend it to everyone, especially those to have extensions. Highly recommend!
Omg I can't say enough positive things about this shampoo! I swear they are using a very high end product for this bottle. It smells so amazing, clean, fresh and floral perfumey but natural which I like. I suppose that's the camellia flower oil in it. But it makes my hair smell SO amazing and I have long, thick, 2c/3A hair and it's made my hear feel so soft and silky. You've gotta try! Both shampoo and conditioner are great!
I got this one by mistake I guess the one I picked was out of stock and this one was substituted. This Sauve Hydra gloss conditioner is very nice. smell is light and clean. Got all of my tangles out and it didn't weigh my hair down. I have extremely thick and course and straight hair this worked for me better than the high dollar conditioners.
hair was much easier to brush and I have long hair past mid back. I brush it wet because I usually shower, brush and Im out the door. It detanhles well and my hair dried super soft. When using it in the shower it didn't feel thick so I was worried but I love the way my hair felt once dry. Smells good too!
I've been really impressed with the Suave Hydra Gloss Sulfate-Free Conditioner. It leaves my hair feeling incredibly soft and smooth without weighing it down. The blend of glycolic acid and camellia flower oil gives my hair a noticeable shine that actually lasts throughout the day. I also love that it's safe for color-treated hair, and it hasn't faded my color at all. The scent is light and fresh, not overpowering. Overall, it's an affordable conditioner that delivers great results.
My initial review of the product was that I liked that the ingredients were better for my hair. Then flipping the lid open to smell it was amazing. It has a fragrant flowery fresh scent. The conditioner also leaves your hair smelling that way too which I love. My hair felt smooth, soft, and silky just as the product describes. There's no residue left behind and my usually frizzy hair isn't nearly as frizzy as usual. This will be one of my new go to hair care products.
I tried the Suave Hydra Gloss Conditioner and was pleasantly surprised. It has a light, clean scent and a thick consistency that feels similar to more high-end brands. Even after just one use, my hair felt soft and manageable. I have thick hair, and I didn't need to use much product to get good results, which is a big plus. Overall, it's a great budget-friendly alternative if you want quality without spending a lot.
This conditioner is great for someone concerned with too many added chemicals. The scent is very light but still pleasant. I really like that it still made my hair soft without the additives like parabens and sulfates. I personally prefer a stronger scent as I'm a sweaty person and scents don't last long on me or in my hair. Overall, I'd purchase this again at some point, or at least recommend it as an affordable solution for someone looking for a conditioner without all the extra chemicals. I am satisfied enough that I am going to try the shampoo next.
This conditioner works really well for my daughter's curly hair. I apply it, brush through her tangles before rinsing, and the brush glides through with almost no resistance. Before using this, brushing her hair was a constant battle that usually ended in tears. It's the only conditioner I've found that makes detangling this easy. My only complaint is the fragrance. The floral scent is extremely strong and lingers, to the point that it's headache-inducing for me. If this came in a lightly scented or fragrance-free version, it would be nearly perfect.
I am not a fan of this product. The label says "hydra gloss" but my hair was not glossier, shinier, or smoother after using it three separate times. It left my hair dull, lifeless, and unmanageable. My hair felt like it had a dirty film on it, and the next day, my hair was a lot more oily than normal. The only positive was the pleasant mild and sweet scent. Other than that, I was very unhappy with it, and I will not be using it again.
